You can say what you want but the Cavs missed like 10 of the free throws in the first.  Those 12 or whatever free throws in the first weren't the reason why the cavs scored 50 in the first quarter.  Everyone on the Cavs did their job and they deserved to win that game.
I'm not talking about the points from the free throw line. I'm saying as far as pace and rhythm goes, when the game is stopped that often at the start, a team that thrives off of pushing the tempo won't be able to.

Cavs deserve to die a slow Finals death in tonight. Warriors by 100 tonight.

Draymond destbes every tech he will ever get just on the strength of what he's already gotten away with over the last 2 years.

There has never been a player as animated and disrespectful to the refs as him, with zero consequence.

Ever.

Lebron and Dray both heckle the refs in completely different ways. One gets tech fouls, the other influences what seems to be the following call (lebron almost always ends up at the line) immediately after the opposing team gets a call.

I want a nail biter of a game no matter who wins.  Give me lead changes galore and overtime.

i think lebron is stuck in cleveland for a while

there is no better situation he can go to than the cavs

unless he takes a drastic paycut. im not sure how the rules apply there though

Cavs win tonight they win it all. Cant see gsw go into the land with no momentum and expect a win.

Stranger things have happened.

But on that note, Can't see how Cavs go into ROaracle tonight and expect to win.

Let the game begin.

"OKC were the Warriors before the Warriors" - Isiah Thomas

Westbrook - Curry
Harden - Klay
KD
Ibaka - Draymond

Los Angeles.

Why wouldn't he. He has a house out there, he's starting the transition into the later part of his career.

Lebron already brought one to Cleveland. He doesn't owe them anything. He'll soon be about building his brand. What better place than LA?

He goes to the clippers he would have to assemble another super team. Probably with Chris paul, and Carmelo.

He goes to the lakers, they have a bunch of young talent around to be competitive. Plus the possibility to play with paul George. Lakers with the number 2 pick and houstons first round pick also.

Plus the korver trade was tied to a protected pick. Which was clevelands insurance incase Lebron bolts.

- Cleveland finishes in the bottom 10 they keep the pick.
- If they still have Lebron, they won't finish in the bottom 10 so the pick don't matter

Does LeBron still get a bonus from Nike for playing in a major city? I remember that was a contract stipulation with his first contract...But I think it doesn't matter anymore, right?

The way I saw it the cavs should have won game 3[emoji]127997[/emoji]‍♂️

Firm believer in this. During the NBA playoffs and finals, it is more so about ratings, advertisements, $$$ and entertainment rather than just the sport. Regular season more about the sport and athleticism and placement for the post season.

It is in the best interest of the NBA/Silver to make his last longer while simultaneously entertaining.

All of that being said, yes I think the NBA Finals are rigged/orchestrated for business or profitability purposes. Last year there was talk about having the highest viewership ever or something like that.

Based on that, I think the series should technically be 2-2 with games 5-7 being legimate toss ups or both teams going 3-3 and game 7 being the allout slugfest. There are some things that you can't control. Just from watching styles of play, coaching strategies, fouls, shooting actions/shot selection...there's so much politics in basketball when it comes to the NBA Finals sometimes it's too obvious, almost like there's legit point shaving going on. The NBA is always shipping the biggest headline and what's most entertaining...then again, what sport isn't involved in some orchestrated nonsense. There's money to be made.

Don't be surprised if CAVs win tonight. This is GSW vs CLE III. Why not make it a thriller instead of a blowout? The top three NBA stars (Lebron, Steph and now KD) are on the biggest stage, let alone how many Allstars from both teams combined. I expect drama, tempers flared and possibly an ejection, maybe two.

Then again maybe it just fizzles out.

By the time he is able to go there, Lebron would be 34, CP 34, melo 35.  That team would get waxed.

To think lebron and melo had parallel careers. (Other than lebron came outa hs and melo Syracuse). What a sad career melo has had. He hasn't won nothing. Only olympics.

Knowing how people vote anybody for hof these days they will say melo in a first ballot hof smh.

Yeah what a sad career. Who cares about being a 3x Olympic gold medalist, a 10x all star, and a 6x all NBA player and an NCAA champion. What a sorry career

LeBron has to continue averaging a TD. Kyrie needs to drop 35-40. Love has to shoot like he did in game 4. TT and Love have to grab 20-25 boards between the two of them and JR has to stay hot. Would also be a huge plus if DWill could hit a jump shot again. Wasn't the stat like the Cavs are 13-0 when DWill hits a jump shot? He just need to hit 2-3shoes just to show the Dubs they have to respect him a little bit when he's on the floor. I still think they should let Frye get some minutes, but at this point Lue is set with his rotation and it doesn't include Frye although he's shooting 53% from 3 this post-season.

Defensively, Cavs really need to force the Dubs into a half court set. Slow the game down. You CANNOT let them beat you in transition. Force them into the halfcourt, keep trapping Curry. If you can take Curry out the game like he was in game 4, the Cars stand a significantly better chance.

LeBron and KD will cancel each other out. Klay has been below average before the Finals and he's coming off a poor game in game for. If Curry is underperforming and Play feels like he has to take on a heavier load, he'll either light it up or sink like the Titanic. I'm better on the latter.

Honestly, I feel like they should encourage Draymond to take as many 3s as he wants. He shot 30% from 3 this season (34% in the post-season) yet he still hoists up 5 3s a game. Let him shoot.

If the Cavs win tonight, this series midas whale be 3-3 heading back to Oracle.

Career earnings approaching $200 Ms not including outside ventures or endorsements.

What a shame. :{

I really can't stand the average sports fan.

To look at someone with a decorated career like Melo and refer to it as "sad" is incredible to me. 1% of everyone who aspires to play pro ball makes it to the NBA. Less than 1% of that 1% go on to become stars.

His career is sad because he didn't have the career Lebron had? The same guy that's arguably a top 5 all time player? Incredible.

And you wonder why stars "take the easy way out to a championship".

How is either situation better than what he has in Cleveland?

1. It's gonna take 4-5 years for the Lakers to sort out their pieces and see them develop and gain experience, including playoff experience. LeBron gonna be 37 before that takes place. Furthermore, no one even knows what any of these players are going to be.

2. What brand? The LeBron James brand hasn't already been established? If anything he loses points by abandoning Cleveland AGAIN. I understood leaving in 2010. But he has 3 chips, one with Cleveland. He has a solid squad behind him. Why would he invite the slander of leaving Cleveland for a the Lakers?

And as mentioned above, the Clippers would not make sense once you factor in the age of CP3/LeBron/Melo.
