Why is Miami appealing to you guys? What pieces do they have that get you excited? Not wade. Not bosh. Not dragic.

Strictly because of the city? City is very overrated

go to a west where there are 4 serious threats for a title and two up and coming teams waiting in the wings OR

go to a star wars trash compactor known as the eastern conference where the only hurdle is whichever team lebron is on?

And the Knicks are his best shot at that?

Might as well go to Miami if he wants to head East

To play with Wade's knees and Bosh's blood clots? To deal with constant Lebron comparisons?

I don't know which team he's going to if he heads east (he won't) but it's not the heat

Not to mention that for KD to sign there wade would have to sign for the veterans minimum, they would have to let Deng walk, and have to convince Whiteside to take less than the max. Even then they still wouldn't be able to offer KD the max due to bosh and dragics contract. I honestly don't even know why he is meeting with them.

The only Draft they got right after The Decision

Cavs and dubs both showed the power of getting the draft right. Between bron, kyrie, tt, steph, klay, harrison, draymond the draft is still probably the best route towards building a championship.

What do you mean not wade not bosh not dragic? those are high caliber players. With a good defender in Winslow who can easily develop into something great and Richardson who came on late in the year. Wade and his knee caps was the most.productive player in the playoffs intill we got knocked out I'm pretty sure.

If Riley can convince Hassan that not maxing out and staying in a situation that's going to become much worse in 3-4 years, is in his best interest, then he really is the GOAT. Either that or Whiteside is dumber than we all thought he was.

i think anyone who's not an OKC fan would be thrilled to see KD in Miami. OKC, Spurs, GSW.

because without Blake, they aren't better than the current OKC team, Spurs, or GSW. All of those situations are better than CP3/KD/DJ and a bunch of bums (and i was kind putting DJ in a "trio" as if he's some type of star, because he is not

I know about the financial reasons for signing a one plus one contract, but Durant strikes me as someone who has not enjoyed the free agency hoopla this year and would like it to be over with instead of dealing with it for another year.

Dude is going to surprise everyone and sign his deal this year.

Leave that extra dollar from the rising cap to add more if needed or sign whats there.

Oladipo is a fresh stud, I hardly think KD wants to walk away from that without running a few games.

Wade getting older and he's still injury prone. He looked old and slow at the end of the Toronto series.

Bosh has a serious health concern.

Dragic is nice but he ain't no high caliber player.

Seriously though, please tell me how it is going to work money wise? Between dragic, bosh, Bob, and Winslow that is 48M. Say the cap is 94m. That leaves you 46m to sign wade, Deng, Whiteside, and kd. Whiteside isn't signing for less than the max so that is 24m there. So that leaves you 22 mil between, Deng, wade, and Kd. That 22m is even less when you factor in cap holds for the remaining 10 unfilled positions.

That is unless Miami can convince bosh to leave 100m on the table to retire in the next 5 days.

So unless they tell Whiteside to piss off, people really think kd is going to leave okc to play with old *** wade, dragic, and possibly bosh?

we use that word star to loosely these days. There are superstars (KD, Lebron, CP, Kawhi, Curry, Westbrook, Davis), stars (Harden, Melo, Butler, Kyrie, George, Wall, Cousins) and then there's the next level, which DJ would be apart of. This is the very good area.

I see your point but I still think DJ is a bonafide star.

First team all NBA on both ends, (2nd straight yr he was all nba first team defender and 2nd straight year he's been all NBA) league leader in blocks and boards, egineered a top 5 defense last year, he really was special last year. Gonna probably be an olympic gold medalist going into next season, thats a star in my eyes.

superstars can;t wait to link up with a 34 year old with tons of mileage and a 32 year old who can't stop having blood clots.
