Tony Gwynn made him into a star. He was a fat **** with no offers before Gwynn found him and brought him to SDSU. Such a fragile little flower Strasburg is.Reds announcers were talking about Strasburg during his hs/college days. Didn't know he had issues with passion for the sport and being a little *****
He's a beast. Pitchers basically have to attack him this year considering where he's hitting in that lineup and he's been mashing everything.Donaldson

Bad feeling our series winning streak ends this weekend, we never play well in Cinci.
So frustrating to watch a guy with his stuff get shelled over and over again.Y'all are treating poor Stras like the NBA thread treats James Harden
yessir love having a competitive rangers team nowHappy for Josh Hamilton
Jew I've been meaning to ask you and anyone else that knows can chime in, but what's good with scuffing baseballs? What benefit does that provide for the pitcher? Better grip?
interesting. so somehow the scuff impacts the rotation of the ball?
I'm not a scientist, so I don't know if I'm using the correct terms here lol
But it doesn't mess with the rotation, just the air pressure and drag around the ball, which creates movement.
PI IS EXACTLY 3!if my basic physics is right, i think the air moving around the ball on the scuff side will pass through and "catch" the scuff, and that side will lag a bit, creating spin
Weight, essentially. Scuffing can give more drop.Jew I've been meaning to ask you and anyone else that knows can chime in, but what's good with scuffing baseballs? What benefit does that provide for the pitcher? Better grip?
