Who's gonna be the coulda woulda shoulda out of these young guys? At least one or two fall off
Correa is looking like he'll have an equivalent if not better than age 20 season Harper had

Probably DeGrom
We shall see but if we're doing players power rankings it would def have to be Trout, Harper, Goldy, everybody else.

It's only depressing if you bought into the preseason predictions for this team. 83-79 isn't a depressing record unless you believed those preseason predictions. Rendon will probably pick it up and be solid, but Werth and Zimmerman haven't given any indication even when healthy that they are werth a damn. Cespedes > Werth. Duda >Zimmerman at this point in their respective careers. Talent doesn't always win games. You're holding onto a bunch of ifs while realistically most of them will never come to fruition. Our starters aren't as good as last year. The bullpen is much worse. They've somehow managed to be a Top 5 run scoring offense but I don't see that continuing on for the rest of the year. Being a game ahead of a team with pitching like the Mets doesn't mean ****. Bryce hasn't been a Barry Bonds impersonator since May/early June. Strasburg hasn't been consistent all yaer. Zimmermann and Fister are regressing to their norms. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think I will be. With Matt WIlliams at the helm, this team is destined to lose. Maybe next year.Bruh.... You most definitely are depressing lol they don't even have the lead in the division and you're talking about them running away with it. Rendon, Zimmerman, and werth are as good or better hitters than anybody the mets have. The mets rotation is better but not by too much. Our main problems are health and Matt Williams. We have leagues more talent than the mets, we've had a TERRIBLE year and they've had about as good a year as could be expected from them at the beginning of the year...,. And we're STILL a game ahead ..... Unless none of our hitters regain form or get hurt again we are pretty solid favorites.
Did I mention that Zimmerman and fister have been below expectations for no particular reason meaning that it's very possible they rebound
Also strasburg is about to be back
And Bryce is still doing a decent Barry bonds impersonation ...
Sorry for not bending over like Kermit to......the mets :/
Appel had a great start last night. I dont care what jewbacca says, i still have faith
