^ There's no way Howard is thrown in. Just making a point that Amaro is the dumbest ******* GM in all of baseball and that's the type of move that he would try. Plus Howard gains full no-trade rights in May so he's gonna adding him in to any trade he can.

But would you be willing to give up Joc Pederson and Seager for Hamels cause that's probably what Amaro is asking for.

The way it stands now, Pederson is the only one that can somewhat play CF next season. The reason Rollins works is because Saeger wont be ready until 2016.

I don't think Pederson is untouchable, but I do think Saeger and Urias are.

You don't think Amaro is asking for Seager, Pederson, and Urias? Not saying he'll get them but you best believe thats who he's asking for. Then when he doesn't get them he'll go to the media blaming other teams for not being aggressive enough or trying to rip him off with bad deals.

Minnesota's rotation now some variation of Phil Hughes, Ervin Santana, Ricky Nolasco, Kyle Gibson, Tommy Milone, etc. Blase, but $ being spent is something many around here were clamoring for for years and now it's happened in consecutive years -- but settling for money spent is not what's going to happen. Has to be smart allocation of the $, and considering Nolasco last year (& how much money he made in comparison to Hughes, who had a good year but still doesn't negate how much $ they spent on Nolasco), it hasn't been a terrific track record on the short-term.

Yanks got me all so far. I know it's only Winter Meetings, but it's kind of clear that unless we are throwing the bank at Scherzer, we won't be making any significant moves.

Santana will look good in a Twins uniform. Good signing for that ballpark. Should make those 4 years productive ones. I'm anxious to see Sano and Buxton in the bigs.

Also anxious to see how the Mariners round out there lineup with this next move they're presumably set to make. Melky is preferrable, but not for 5-years. Rios would be a good fit. Ian Desmond would be cool too, but not at the expense of Tai. I still think Brad Miller can pan out, but I don't think the M's are prepared to wait for that to happen. Dayan Viciado is last on the list. If that move happens then it's because they either couldn't pull off anything else or Z doesn't know what he's doing.

Greene trade was good. We need infield help badly. This Didi kid is worth it. McCarthy got overpaid because of him having a great half a season with us. We don't need to pay that. Half a season isn't enough to prove you worth that money after he was getting waxed in AZ last year.
