When the Yanks won in 09, people were partying in Union Square around where I caught the game. I gotta see if I can find the pictures but there was a cardboard Matsui cut out and everything was great...right up until they flipped a cop car over decided that was the time to call it a night.
Ugh, Yankees fans are the ******* worst sometimes
The Royals were NOT a Cinderella team. Call me butthurt/salty but it pisses me off every time I hear it. They were favored to win. They were the better team. Sometimes the better team doesn't win tho
-115 and they were "favored to win" and "the better team."Yes slightly favored to win once the series began as are most teams with home field advantage . As far as them being a Cinderella team I agree with you they aren't we knew going into the season this was a two team division with the Royals and Tigers and it was the division went right down to the last week of the season to decide seeding. The Royals were NOT a Cinderella team. Call me butthurt/salty but it pisses me off every time I hear it. They were favored to win. They were the better team. Sometimes the better team doesn't win tho
As far as the Royals being the better team... what were the two things you kept hearing about the Royals coming into the series? Speed and defense.
- Each team stole one base during the series.
- The Giants defense was just as good if not better in the series.
If your opponent is able to stop you from doing what you do best... what you have done all year and then I think they are the better team. Wether it was indecision or the Royals part or not they still had chances and failed to take advantage. Again advantage of one of there "strengths"
They are man. They'll regress. I guarantee they wont make the playoffs next season. They shouldve lost to the A's about 8 times. The Royals were NOT a Cinderella team. Call me butthurt/salty but it pisses me off every time I hear it. They were favored to win. They were the better team. Sometimes the better team doesn't win tho
this douche is one of my close friends
killed me when i saw him do this and on the internet after
-115 and they were "favored to win" and "the better team."
The Cards have won 1 title the last 8 years. So this every other year thing has me confused.I wouldn't go that far with the Giants and Cards winning every other year
@SportsCenter: The Red Sox have re-signed closer Koji Uehara to a 2-year, $18 million contract.
Looks like Billy Butler is headed to free agency. The Royals declined his option. Add him to the laundry list of homegrown talent they've pissed away. Smh
