Dodger fans own At&t and angel stadium,
Eye love it
I'm so close to accepting. You gotta stop tempting me into being a buyer. You see those Smyly stats up there ^ champcruthik Let's get that deal done
We've known Ilitch is going for it, for a while now. Honestly if not this season, when? Detroit can and will beat Oakland in October.Julio Teheran (5 ER thru 4 IP in Seattle today) has now allowed 38 ER in 82 1/3 IP on the road this season. 13 ER in 79 IP at home. #MLB
Criminally underrated in Seattle and Detroit. He's going to be a major factor for the Nats come playoff time.Watching Fister from yesterday and I still laugh that Detroit basically gave this guy away. Could you imagine them still having him AND trading for Price? Max/JV/Price/Fister/Sanchez and still somehow no WS.
2/3
How great has Caleb Joseph been as of late? No joke, he's gonna ease the (eventual) loss of Matt Wieters. He calls a great game and his defense is sick. Exactly what you want in a catcher and will be a fraction of the price Wieters will command.
On to the Cards...let's get it!
It's actually a ligament in his thumb. IDK if that's what's really his problem, cause it doesn't look like it bothers him. What's bothering him are the terrible counts he gets himself into, and the fact that he's trying to hit a five run homer every time he comes up. Every at bat he has it seems like he's down 0-2 quickly. His power more than likely won't return til next year, unfortunately.I'm hoping Harper's wrist is finally healthy. That'll be the X factor to me. But IDK if it'll be better until next season.
This is pretty awesome...
It still breaks my heart Doc never got that WS he so deserved

Great article on the M's pitching up there. A little frustrating because of their crappy hitting, but Ackley's emergence has seriously been a catalyst for their offense. If they can pull this off I legitimately think their pitching staff is more than good enough to get them to the ALCS. Totally serious. They just need to get in first.

Yep, his swing/stance was much different after the knee. I liked his stance he used the first game after the All-Star break, he went up there relaxed standing almost Ken Griffey Jr. like and then let it rip. Went 3/4 with a homer the first time he used it and then he had an 0/4 and dropped it completely.I don't know how that happened, I meant to write hand/thumb.
But yea, I think it's still the thumb...he's changed his swing completely so it doesn't look like it's bothering him but it's an entirely new swing so he's not getting any drive same thing happened when he had the knee injury IIRC...instead of the surgery, just switched his swing up.
How the......man, why it let you post it but not me? Racist ******* board I tell ya.
