What about Porzingis has anything to do with San Antonio teaching us something. Most of their foreign players that matter are clearly mixed with black or are South American (please don't go all stormfront and derail this into a racial debate of why they're basically european, even though i know you have a borderline unhealthy obsession with racial things like this.)
I don't remember a straight up white player who's number one strength was physical tools ever panning out.
We have our highest pick in forever, and no pick next year, there's no reason to gamble with it. Players in the mold of Russell and Mudiay are a proven commodity in this league. And being that the direction of the team is to stick with Melo, will much better compliment him.
And you're my dude in the soccer thread, but you clearly have a smug attitude toward people of certain backgrounds.
Zinger plays the same position as Melo and would have the same problems on defense. That's why I don't want him. I see him being like a mirotic, but we don't need that. We need a PG or C.
about to hit 18 .....
why am i endorsing ?
I hate to agree with dude because I dislike 99% of his posts in here but this is more or less my attitude as well.I'm just saying a lot of people have xenophobic attitudes towards international players, what the Spurs have done with a multi-cultural roster should be acknowledged. Whether they're from Europe, South America, Africa, whatever - they end up playing in some euro league and are molded by that league.
If Phil drafts Kristaps, I won't be mad. I don't think others should be. It's a gamble, I understand that because no one knows. But the draft is always a gamble sometimes. Would I rather have one of the PG's who could help Melo get into the playoffs or potentially have a dude you can build a team around in 4 years. I'll take the future bet anyday.
Reports are saying that the Sixers are about to take him anyways (even tho they have enough bigs), I think he's going to be good. I don't want to look back 7 years from now (like we've done so much) and say "damn the knicks could of had him"
Man I ******* despised Novak right after we got rid of _'Antoni and resigned him to that 3 year deal. Best part of the Bargs trade
My son Steve "LD" Novak was that guy a couple years ago manMiss the homie
Fair enough. But in fairness to me, I think I only see you in here talking **** about Melo. So the 99% might not be innaccurateGr8est just say you disagree with everything I say about "Melo"
Because besides that I agree with what you said aswell. There is a reason why Zinger went from late first round pick to potentially going to be drafted at number two by the Lakers. The dude is talented and has an extreme ceiling.
If he's at number 4, I think Phil takes him and I won't be moaning about that at all.
