2015 NY Knicks offseason thread, Los Almighty appreciation thread

Phil's not going to land a big Free-Agent this Summer, not that big of deal to me.

He was dealt a ridiculous set of cards that no GM in the world could turn around in 9 months. No one should criticize Phil yet, I'd wait at least couple years, after 2016.

FOH. Phil is terrible at his job. If he was any good he would've gotten the Knicks LeBron when he left Miami and traded for Gasol, Rose, and 1996 Rik Smits at the deadline.

trade Phil Jackson!

i dont want ty or jrue. ty is good, but i dont see him being our answer at PG. jrue is just too injury prone. i feel like we either need a vet at PG or a REAL young stud.

if only we couldve gotten knight or MCW...

RIP to drose's career btw. its a shame.

Very happy to hear about Mase. Continue to pray.

For point guards, Brandon Knight is the only pg that I like the mostly this summer. I love Rondo's game, but he's one of guys that you don't want to deal with their attitude problem. I like Cory Joseph. Not starting material tho, but he's got ideal size for a pg. He can shoot and defend well. I hope Phil takes a look at him.

For real, I am still waiting for this.

will he even be able to leap like he's coming off a trampoline after this ? :\

A little random but what do you guys think the chances of Knight resigning with Phoenix are or them matching any and all offers for him this summer? Just looking at this potential free agent pool and it's looking mighty depressing. The trade deadline kinda robbed us of a lot of options. At this point I think the best person we have a realistic chance at landing is Draymond Green and even he is a RFA

Although his individual defense improved this season, MCW still can't shoot.

Timing is impeccable with Knight having the season of his life in Milwaukee prior to the trade. Although I question whether he can consistently shoot over 40% from deep over his career.

I suppose for Phoenix's FO it depends largely on the long-term compatibility between Knight and Bledsoe in the backcourt. I doubt the Suns would deal Dragic and Thomas without a clear vision in place for their starting guards of the future. Ennis and Plumlee weren't considerable assets in the deal, but Phoenix did give Philly the Lakers' 2015 first-round pick (protected) in the 3-team trade.

He can't shoot and he's still only 23 averaging 15/6/7.

Even if that was on a historically bad team, those numbers are nothing to sneeze at. His shooting percentages will get better when he grows as a player and learns when to and when not to shoot...that's my opinion at least.

I'd rather have him than whoever we have running the point now.:lol
