2015 NY Knicks offseason thread, Los Almighty appreciation thread

Shump, Larkin, and a pick sounds good to me. They're about to lose him for nothing, so we'd have the upper hand here.

Can't usually trust a player's performance on their contract year, they tend to kick it to another level. Shump is really surprising me right now wih his uncharacteristic numbers.

I'm down for that Monroe trade.

Is that really honestly all it would take for Monroe?

Also, why is Detroit so committed to J. Smoove? Unless it's Monroe himself that wants out?

^ its not that there commited to josh smith, it's the fact that he's hard to trade because he hasn't lived up to his contract. If we could pull Monroe or Drummond for anybody besides Melo would solve 70% of our problems.

Got a red light ticket in Nassau County

How can I fight this ish

You have to convince them that it's not you driving the car. The only thinge they have against you is your plate # and a photo of the car.

They have speed limit cameras now too :{

And TNT is slurping Tyson Chandler right now. Where was all the slurpage when he was playing for us?

Who's saying we're getting Rondo and Gasol? :lol
And Kobe apparently.... all by the trade deadline.

:lol

That's what Charles like the rest of S&T love to do when a player becomes a former Knick. Hype the **** out of them and praise them for their intangibles :lol :{

In this case the only ppl that get a pass on that are Mavs fans.

NOT trying to be biased but i like dalembert effort every night compared to tyson so ya sammy>tyson

While a average Tyson is definitely better than no Tyson, people act like Knick fans were crazy for saying Tyson isn't doing what he should be. You can make the argument that he got tired of cleaning up his teammates messes but the decline became apparent season after season.

Dalembert ain't Tyson but he's still a presence. Good enough rebounder. Swear he's a shooter though :lol

On to my next point...these past two loses aren't a shocker. I think we beat the Nets and split both games with the Hawks. I'm going to try and be positive. If we maintain this level of play all season, we're a .500 team. Might be enough to creep into the playoffs.

Skill wise Tyson probably has more (although it's all defense, tap outs, and lobs) Sammy fits better.

But if shump is really balling why wouldn't you wanna pay him ? If he really starts panning out and plays like this all year. And i believe nobody is safe either its just that THJ has the highest value out of all 3 of them atm

THJR has the most potential out of the 3, but not necessarily the highest value. RN, shump has the highest value to the team. the reason why people arent quick to just dole out money to players in contract years, is that said players tend to slack once they get paid. thats where the debate about if they play to win a chip, or for money and all the other perks. with shump, i dont think most of us are sold on the fact that this guy wants to win, at least not yet.

sometimes if you go there before court actually gets going you can have the prosecutor/judge reduce the sentence to just a fine. no guarantee, but i was able to do that once years ago in nassau.

How many guys do nothing for 3 years, ball out in a contract year, and proceed to do nothing the next 3 years? I'm good man. Rather save that dough for someone that's been consistent throughout their whole career.
