2015 NY Knicks offseason thread, Los Almighty appreciation thread

ive grown fond of A.R. ( does anyone still call him that :lol ) he is entertaining on & off the court & it seems he gels properly in both starting or bench situations imo. while I do agree we have a surplus at SG, Shump has been dying to be coached in a REAL system & I feel this triangle will suit him so much so that we will see the potential we all had in mind of him earlier in his career.

You just typed a bunch of bs

im gonna use this gif alot for text convo's :evil

JR is gonna average 18 in the triangle once they get this offense flowing, why would you trade him for a career role player?

cope isnt even a role player bruh. the only reason why hes playing is because the pacers dont have anyone else better to start at SF. he barely got any burn last year. at least jr can handle the ball. not to mention we dont know what we'll get from thjr or shump on a given night. aside from melo, we actually need jr.

Cope is a FA next year, so trading JR for Cope would shred 6.3M off our cap next year.

The only upside arguing for trading JR for Cope.

I wouldn't do it.

We'll have enough cap space by next off season.

ESPN Power Rankings.

15. Knicks

The big takeaway after spending a night with the Knicks in Cleveland is that Derek Fisher belongs. Everyone said he was a coaching natural, but he looks even more comfortable and commanding than I expected, which is reflected in the response he has gotten out of this group since the home opener shellacking.

NBA.com got us at 12.

The Wizards are going to be a tough team for us. They have Nene and Gortat inside. IDK how we match up against them. Also, Wall and Beal in the bakcourt will give us issues as well. We lost games because of Beal last year :{

I feel good about the Piston, Nets and Hawks though.

How your ol 25 win predicting *** gon' feel good about winning 3 out of 4? You perpetratin cuh.

Except we wont. JR is replaceable. There are plenty of guys out there that can come off the bench and score for cheaper.

I dont wanna make any trades right now, but if the opportunity presents itself for us to save 6 mill, i'm for it.

Y'all went from saying 20 wins to 81-1 :lol

The 81 wins is sarcasm (I think 8o) but it shows how quickly a couple quality wins can turn our outlook on the team around.

I know I've said a lot about Earl, but I hope they don't trade him, and if they just absolutely have to it isn't for
Cope, no offense, but let's move ahead instead of reaching back.

Plus we're only a few games in and y'all are already talking 81 games......, no less than 70 games won, at the very worst 70-12

I'm liking the whats going on rite now, even though it's not much. Im gonna stick with .500 and a low seed in the playoffs. Other than the 1st game, season feels ah ite so far! :p:rollin
