Many Hawaiians are very particular about this though, just part of their culture. I have friends from Hawaii, some are Hawaiian decent and others are Filipino, the Filipinos even though born and raised in Hawaii never identify themselves as Hawaiians.

Huh? Oregon played Michigan State, Stanford, and Utah. FSU's defense isn't as good as any of those teams. I don't care what kind of "athletes" they have.
