im telling you im around recruits all day they all talk about facilities, campus, and the perks like Nike schools and jerseys n stuff
times have changed these kids are all about having the latest just look at the shoe game with all the youngsters coming in
how you gonna go on a visit to this then go to Miami
They need to make this happen period

Like I've said in a previous post..... Miami needs to catch up in college football. Facilities especially. Not only for the kids but for the coaches as well.
If they want to show coaches they are serious about football, they need to show that they are committed to a football program. The era IMO of "we can get by with average facilities and average everything" is done. You need to give a great reason as to why a proven coach or a good coach should come to Miami. Recruiting grounds doesn't cut it anymore. Everybody comes to south florida and will get their share of the pie. So with that, When you see schools like UF or FSU give every possible resource to win, then it is time for UM to do the same. Why coach at UM with a fickle fan base, average facilities and recruite the same area as other schools when you can do the same at a bigger state school with more resources at your disposal?
I know the money is a huge deal, but money will always hinder MIami. Until they catch up and realize you need to spend money to get the best possible things, UM will remain irrelevant.

STILLWATER -- Sports Illustrated’s myriad allegations of misconduct within the Oklahoma State football program were “fundamentally unfounded,” according to a joint statement released Tuesday by the NCAA and an outside consultant hired by OSU.
The SI series was published in September 2013 and alleged improprieties including payments to players, sexual favors from the Orange Pride support group, academic misconduct and rampant drug use.
OSU retained The Compliance Group to investigate the allegations. The Compliance Group, of Lenexa, Kan., is led by Chuck Smrt, who spent 18 years on the NCAA enforcement staff and has run the consultant firm since 1999.
Smrt and the NCAA conducted a joint investigation and found three Level II violations, termed “more than minimal, but less than extensive,” by Smrt and OSU officials.

nobody is saying build a 80k+ stadium
but a smaller well built 50k stadium like Autzen stadium would do the job
how does a High School have better stadiums and facilities then one of the top program in the nations with so much tradition and history :x

They were. They did a lot of 80s-early 2000s winning, but aside from those 20 or so years... they're not.
Allen Texas and all Texas related football in general has more history than the U.
Not a slight, just reality.
Your administration won't commit money, the administration took away the coaches that knew how things worked there, and your kids are going elsewhere and not just to your school.
Miami's strength was its self supporting talent, not its boosters or facilities or coaches. Now that everyone else is catching up talent wise with their and your kids you either need awesome coaching or all your recruits to stay home (read: out-athlete competition and win in spite of Golden)

Miami isn't a top program right now, they were. But saying aside from those 20 years doesn't make much sense. The 80s- early 2000s is a long time to be a CFB power. You can't dismiss that.

I just mean that the people who are pumping money into Texas/Bama/OU/etc. have been pumping money in as a family for 3 generations now. You have literally a 15-20 year span of time when people/alums cared about Miami. As a result, no you won't have facilities like places where old oil billionaires since the 1950s have set up trusts and the like to guarantee money is pumped into football.
