This is the time for Boston to use their 10000 "assets." They're an all star or 2 away from being legit contenders. I feel like Horford and Dwight would resign there anyway.

Love + Dwight would be pretty cool :smokin

If I were the Rockets and sending Dwight to the Celtics, I would rather have a deal centered around Amir Johnson, Kelly Olynyk, salary filler and the Mavs pick (since the Nets pick is going to be off the table).

lmao, trippin my friend.   AL and Spencer are basic..  When Dwight plays at his highest level he and his team can be dominate.  Cant say that about either of those 2 Hornets.

Yeah, but Dwight doesn't want to be there anymore, so there's reason to doubt he's going to play at the highest level if he stays. Plus, then he walks in the summer for nothing. Rather have two less talented guys who want to play than one very disgruntled star.

I'll rather stay away from Dwight if I'm Boston. Would prefer to get a Love/Horford frontcourt.

Dwight Howard still the most likely big name on the move today. The Rockets and Howard's agent, Dan Fegan, working hard to make a trade.

Houston Rockets turned down Charlotte's offer of Al Jefferson

Not a bad move for Houston right here, this might be the best offer they can get at this point.

The thing is, his current value isn't based off him playing at his highest level. This is simply about getting something decent in return for Dwight when he decides to walk in July.

Houston will goof bigtime if they do not get a deal done.

I am sure there are a couple on the table. Probably not exactly what they hoped for but they better take the best one by 3pm today.

Dwight ain't coming back in July.

Boston would be a good fit for Howard if they can get him on the cheap. I'd offer like Rozier, Lee, Celtics first and filler.
Ainge would do that in a heartbeat. That's barely tapping in to their real assets. I feel like Morey would hold out though.

Not bad, not bad. Much more realistic.

I'd take that if I were Houston. Decent haul for Dwight at this point.

Thats actually not bad...

Nice package for Dwight.

I don't want Love in a Celtics uni. He's softer than baby doo doo. Horford on the other hand

ainge is no dummy, its Lee, their 1st...maybe he throws in a rookie for d12 or horford or love

In discussions that extended to Wednesday night, the Nets significantly increased their contract offer to persuade Marks to accept the job, league sources said.
Held out for more guap.

I like the fact that the Russian gives no ***** about spending money on his franchise. I wish every owner was like that. He just had the wrong guy in charge all those years and kept him far too long.

Why would anybody give up much for Dwight, especially when hes going to opt out at the end of the year? He doesn't make anybody a contender.

I think he makes a significant impact though for Boston or another Eastern Conf team. Exsp if only needed to give up Lee, 1 of the picks and a rookie guard.

Dwight is probably gonna end up signing with miami or Atlanta in the offseason. Can't see him sticking around in charlotte or boston

I agree.

Which is why Houston needs to take the best offer on the table now. They are prolonging the situation haha....

If Hassan made more money I could of seen a straight up center swap.

Man I can't believe that was even a real post. Fat, injured, hasn't played in a month, grabs less rebounds than most point guards Al Jefferson and Cole Aldrich's brother are the "best offer they can get"? :rollin :rollin

Hassan is BY FAR their most talented young player since Wade. I still can't believe he's even on the table. Especially with how rough Winslow has looked. Miami needs all the young talent they can get.
