2014 NFL Draft Thread

I think what someone was sayin earlier is coming more true.

I spoke of the 4 major needs, QB, OT, DE, and CB.

Someone countered that Safety might be more important (I think it was one of the Eagle fans...) and look at this first round. 4 Safeties, and 5 corners. That's 9 DB's out of 32.

BTW, 3 QB's, 4 OT's (5 if Martin stays at OT), and 4-5 DE/OLB pass rushers. That's 20-22 of the 32 picks in round 1.

this is where that whole convo started:

just waiting to see what round the pats take coleman.. because we all know they're taking someone from rutgers

Jets have 12 picks. They need to trade up and snag Lee before anyone else does.

Needless to say ill be targeting Stafford again in fantasy football.

Ohhhhhh yeah.

For sure he'll be my FanDuel QB every time I play :lol .

and ******** lucked out with morgan moses and joel bitonio still being available

I was sure Steelers would draft a CB. But every 1st rounder has produced so far for them. It's the later rounds that screw the Steelers, especially lately.

I think the Skins are going O-Line heavy in rounds 2/3. I would also expect them to trade back and try to get more picks.

Not really sure what I want falcons to do, there are a lot of good players players left. We definittely need a S and a pass rusher. TE, CB and another OL wouldnt hurt either.

alright, I'm over it.

Nice pick up Vikes.

I want Nix with that 33rd.

Him , Watt, Clowney, Reed, Mercy, Cush.

:x

is there a tailor that can remove the 8 from your carr jersey and put a 4 instead 8o

Hoping the Ravens draft Austin Sefarian-Jenkis since Ebron was gone before we picked a G or Safety wouldn't hurt either

Tyron Smith, Zack Martin and Frederick on the left side of the line is pretty damn nice... Offensive line looks on point, especially if Free plays to the level he played last year on the right side.

Friend of mine (Giants fan) talking nonsense that they'll easily beat up the Lions Week 1 . Match-up on paper is bound to be a great one, but far from one sided.

Kid is just on a draft high :rolleyes .

Gilbert is good and he can play ST.

Gilbert is good, but why in the hell would you give up a mid round pick to move up a single spot, when the Vikings weren't going to take that guy anyways? That's horrible.

That's horrible? It was a secure move.

So moving down 5 spots, than up one more to get the guy they wanted anyways, PLUS a BUFFALO BILLS 1st rounder is horrible?

Wha cha watching bruh?

Anybody blowing down on the Browns 1st round so far are clearly not seeing the bigger picture, or you're probably a fan of another AFC north team.

What the Browns did was genius. Manizel was projected as a top 10 pick - clearly all over every mock from every draft expert. They moved down 5 sports in return getting 2015 first & fourth rounder, plus filled a tremendous need because our secondary was getting burned on every other play last year. Gilbert is super fast, and putting him opposite side of Joe Haden only spells success for a guy with his potential.

So filling that need was a given.

But than also snatching Manziel, who was projected to go to us 4th overall? At 22? That was a steal.

Now we sit here at 35. Marqise Lee seems plausible. That's top-5 WR in this draft. That's a much needed CB, QB and possible WR all within the first 35 picks.

We looking like A+++++ so far.

Patriots BEEN having that Gator direct line since Urban Myer was there

at this point if Im the Texans or Bucs I rather pick up all defensive players and O line maybe go after Jernigan

no need to draft any of these QBs maybe AJ in the 3rd round

Jacksonville shoulda went defense and wait for Jameis or Marcus when they leave FSU n Oregon they not going to the playoffs anytime soon so why not
