2014 NFL Draft Thread

Bortles did really look like Ben light with the frame / arm and mobility.

I like from what I saw of Teddy and he's been called the number one since last year.

It's hard not to like the bravado / YOLO / explosiveness of Money Manziel.

It's a good problem for Houston it seems.

But with BOB coming to coach I can see
Him taking the pocket guy over the home grown kid.

The hype he gets for his highlight run plays, and his overall ability to extend plays really overshadows that he can be a pocket quarterback.

Mike Evans
Brandin Cooks
Allen Robinson

All are declaring. WR class is DEEEEEEEP this year.

Watkins Gallon and Hoffman

Need Lee, and the LSU duo to join in along with Kelvin and Greene.

Sean Price?
Jarvis Landry is announcing his decision today. 10 TD's on the season. He's in along with Beckham and Hill.

Landry projects to be the best pro out of the three although I believe Hill finds a good home/fit in R2 or R3.

I love Hurns too, but he won't be more than a 6th-7th if he's lucky. He'll more than likely need to earn a job via the UDFA route.

Assuming he kills it in the orange bowl and combine I can see the Browns taking Watkins at 4.

im guessing it goes:

1. Teddy or Manziel
2. Clowney
3. Teddy or Manziel.
4. ?

yeah that's one thing you don't get with jace. still love what i see though. hoping that's enough to have him fall
Good chance Amaro and ASJ are available top of the second. Ebron may be the only TE selected in the first round.

1) QB.
2) STL trades for the rights to Clowney or the second QB, could keep the pick and select Matthews.
3) Whoever falls out of QB, Clowney.
4) FF: Browns wouldn't look at Bortles that early, would they? I guess it depends on McDaniels or the next HC.

i need him to fall more than that :lol

unless we try and move back a bit and pick up an extra 2nd...wouldn't hate that. this is one year i wouldn't mind trading down given the deep talent at some of our need areas.

He's not draft eligible, but keep an eye out for Juice Howard. Bama TE. #88. True freshman. If he learns to block, he'll be far and away the best TE prospect in recent years.

Mcdaniels is gonna take Tebow again, continue the Tank in Clevland, get fired in 2 years, get re-hired by the Pats and then rinse and repeat.
Gus Malzahn can change all that if Cleveland has the stones to hire him.

Cleveland has no interest in being relevant, their waiting for Lebron to come home.

Looking at the bottom half of the draft the only teams I can see take a TE are the Packers, Seahawks, Pats and maybe Chiefs.

And Packers seem to need some OL help over a TE.

Chiefs maybe a QB if someone slides ?
I would love to take over that Cleveland squad. Core of Gordon and Cameron offensively. Draft the right QB. Defensively Haden, Taylor, Sheard, Jackson, and Ward can ball.

GB definitely needs to protect Rodgers over a pass-catching TE. Like I said, they could always wait for ASJ or Amaro by trading up in R2. Packers need Cyril Richardson or Tiny badly.

I thought Moeaki was the goods in KC before the injury.

Yea Moeaki was solid before being hurt, but I think this is the second season in a row where his season was cut short by injury.

I wonder if the Seahawks take the hometown kid in ASJ after their last dealings with a local TE in Stevens, even though he's currently winning |I :{
How he bagged Hope Solo, we'll never know.

Makes sense for Seattle if they trade back from their first to add an additional pick. Trade partner with someone top of the second.

Let's not forget Colt Lyerla is a stud if you believe in reclamation projects. Need a strong coaching staff and locker room to keep him on the straight and narrow.

i wasn't referring to AH81 as much as i was talib, moss, dillon, etc :lol

Forgot about Colt, wasn't he a 1st rounder before all this?

Wonder where he lands esp with Aaron still fresh in our minds if he's drafted at all.
Uh.....
He was probably an early second before the drug problems and fighting with coaches.

I'm certain he's off select teams' draft boards completely. Some organization takes a flier in the 6th or 7th.

We'll take him late in the draft.. Chip seemed to be able to keep him sorta in check before
