2014 NFL Draft Thread

Ok? I've been wrong about many things over the years and right about many things over the years?

How does that refute the point that I doubt that Hundley lost money over the last two games?

Matt Miller today had Marcus Mariota to the Vikings.

MM, AP, CP on turf. *nodding*

I could see that.

In 3 years....Until then they'll be out in blizzards. Interesting dynamic for the next two years with Minnesota.

Hundley's stock is diwn right now but if it was draft he would do well with the interview process which would bring his stock back up, but I see him staying in school he still does read defenses well and his mechanics need work.

man that dude looked like hot buns against Oregon and Standford. pure buns, thats why he lost that top qb money.

He's still 6'3 with a good arm and mobility...

He's still probably going be a first rounder.

The NFL has drafted a lot of quarterbacks with less talent and a lower level of production than Hundley early in the first.

In the last 3 years:

Christian Ponder never played a complete season @ FSU, had elbow/arm strength concers, and went top 12.
Blaine Gabbert's sophomore Year was nowhere as good as his freshman year, and he went top 10.
Jake Locker was average his entire career at Washington, and he went top 10.
EJ Manuel couldn't read the middle of the field and went top 20.

Hundley has been missing most of his OL, his starting RB (thus no run game so all Oregon had to worry about was the pass) over the last two games where he has struggled. His projection, the things that make him a great prospect to NFL GM's, does not change. Don't think its any coincidence that his offensive lineman have gone down in the last 2 games and so has his production. Hundley is getting drafted or is valued based on what NFL teams think he can become, not what he is right at this moment. Dude wasn't a sure fire top 5/top 10 pick regardless and now all of a sudden his value is tanking because of ppl playing like **** around him? Doubt it.

Hundley has too many Freemanish qualities to him...no way in hell we touch him.

I want a Gruden reunion with Johnny Football as qb. Maybe we can get Clowney or Mathews with our first pick and Manziel right at the top of the 2nd or trade up to the end of the 1st.

Hundley will do GREAT in the combine and interview process though...his stock will skyrocket around that time. He ain't gonna last past the top 15 picks unless he plays like crap the rest of the year. I think the Eagles take either him, Manziel or trade up for Mariota somehow.

*still nice*

*still saying nothing*

Straight the **** up this is the last time I'm talking about the Clowney-Bowers comparison so embed this in your brain so I don't have to explain this again.

I compared his situation to Bowers in the fact that he came into the season as the #1 prospect as a DE, he could need surgery after this season and could see his stock drop. I also said there was a similarity in their motor that's made Bowers a situational pass rushed rather than an every down guy. Every time you idiots bring it up I repeat that I think he's a GREAT talent and that he'll still be a hell of a lot better player than Bowers.

i'd happily take hundley.. and if by some miracle he dropped to the 2nd as that draft above depicted, i would fly up to new york myself and make whatever trade needed to be made by the eagles to get him

ucla has some defensive players.. but outside of hundley i dont see the greatest players on offense.. and then i've never been the biggest fan of jim mora jr
