didnt they have to sign a new free agent b4 they could match parsons?

Yes

$23M per for Parsons and his BACK UP Ariza...

and let's say Ariza comes in and challenges Parsons for the starting spot or minutes. Now you REALLY over paid.

so is Morey stupid enough to match Parsons too?

"@BimaThug: If Rockets can convince WAS, NOP to convert Asik deal into 3-tm deal (Asik to NOP; NG'teed deals+2nd rdr to WAS; Ariza+Pels pick to HOU)Rockets could get Ariza, match Parsons, all while still preserving their MLE, BAE and $8.4M Lin TPE. Ideal scenario for Houston."

Not even mad at HOU trying to screw over DAL.

Morey obviously don't care about his owner's money. He must see the writing on the wall for the next lockout and these players do too.

Cant consider this a bandwagon move. All his stated reasons are legit.

bro you a drake fan so your words mean the same as drake...

lebron like a brother to him lol

this guy done lost his mind :lol

gotta love celebrities and their big heads and entitlement

I mean, if Rockets really wanna have an 8M dollar backup SF, :lol

Can't believe Ariza would sign that contract knowing he'd be a backup. But weirder things have happened.

If Mavs strike out with CP, go all out and get Deng or Lance. Watch us get Lance on a more affordable deal than we offered Chandler. :lol

Yeah, there was a deal.

Then Riles said [Kendrick] "**** daht" [/Kendrick], we'll give you an extra year and 35 more of those M's.

And suddenly, there was no deal.

I could be mistaken but.... Unless Miami does a sign and trade with Cleveland they don't have bird rights on lebron (must not switch teams via free angency for 3 years) so they won't be able to go over the cap to resign him in a year or 2 correct? Or can they go over the cap to give him an extension while he's still under contract regardless of bird rights or not?

i feel bad for houston tho.

end up with ariza and might not match parsons when just the other day it was looking like they would be the major powerhouse coming out the west

oh well atleast they got rid of lin lol
