opt out = renegotiate based on what's going on cap wise

stop being dumb y'all

he could opt out, take a one year pay cut to bring in a big name FA, then resign the biggest contract ever once the TV deal comes in..

this move was all about cap .. not cz he'd bounce

Rockets are dummies.

Ariza only shows up during contract years

2017 looking perfect for the sixers gives up Bron or KD [emoji]128064[/emoji][emoji]128064[/emoji]

wasn't sure y'all were serious about thinking Bron would leave again

but now I see y'all are

not a chance in hell he leaves ... let's just stop this right now
Not a chance? Pretty strong statement bruh especially considering dude has already bounced on 2 teams in the not so distant pass.

I don't know about all that

If he leaves again after just two years...

Someone here might really try to off him.

No chance in hell he bounces again though. He is basically married to the franchise for the foreseeable future.

Even when he re-ups in 2 years with them, I expect another type of flexible deal where he has an opt-out (CBA in 2017?...).

People shouldn't even dream of LBJ in '16.

He's not gonna throw away all this goodwill coming his direction. Unless something crazy happens throughout the next two years, he'll commit quickly and won't entertain other offers.

IMO Durant is another pipe dream. I don't see that dude leaving OKC.

A LOT can happen in two years though... pretty sure none of yall was saying two years ago he was for sure going back to cleveland :lol

Welcome back home Trevor Ariza :hat

As much as i want us to match Parsons deal...i dont mind seeing him go. i want us to use whatever money we have left to work on our bench.

Isn't that what they did by signing Ariza though?

Wonder if Melo regretting that 5 year contract.
