how many hours would it be from 5 pm thursday to 5 pm sunday? would it be..72 hours?
laugh.gif
it would be 5pm on Sunday even if they submitted it at 1pm today.... which would be more than 72 hours

so submitting it earlier in the day would have given Houston MORE time ...

tekthemaestro tekthemaestro your post got magically deleted but why you all bunched up :lol I was the one that brought up KD calling Wade out for being a fraud. Someone brought up lebron needing wade to win his ring and I posted my rebuttal. Don't be mad

Wade is still the second greatest Miami Heat player ever :lol :rollin :lol

None of that holds relevance to the topic. Wades accomplishments are better than KDs scoring titles. And i like KD. But you were wrong. And bringing up lebron getting the MVP while in Miami, was you deflecting. Now as your name sake says... Take yourself out. But I'm nowhere near flustered

Or the Rockets are just stalling the Mavs as long as possible trying to negotiate a deal they'll never agree to. :lol

that's exactly my point. they've got to fear that we would realistically match the offer on parsons.
I think everyone gets that.

But what is Houston trying to get out of it. The Mavs have NOTHING of value. So why not just say we're going to match it and move on?

because we could get a trade exception out of it, and use that to fill our roster out. from what i've read at least.

Once again, was about to mention the same :lol Who exactly are these decent bench players the Mavs have that would be coveted? I'm seeing Branden Wright and no one else

then why haven't they submitted the offer sheet yet?

because Cuban is trying to pimp Houston...

he can give them decent bench players with expiring contracts

in return, Dallas keeps cap money

if they say no, he proceeds with the offer sheet by 5pm today and makes their lives difficult
The Rockets can just resign Parson and Dallas is back to square one. They are in no bind at all.

So if Bron announces he's leaving at 3:30 today, all Houston would have to do is get Bosh to sign within the next day or two, then match Parsons offer before the deadline on Sunday .. correct? 8o

OK, that makes sense.. But that's literally all they would get out of it aside from maybe a protected first. Seems like if that's what they wanted though, it's a fairly easy negotiation.

Would at the very least need the Asik and Lin trades to become official as well.

Bath Township, Ohio police -- home to Lebron James -- tells NBC News they are NOT preparing for an announcement or extra police details.
troll job of the millennium.

the fact that reporters are calling up that police station and digging for any type of clues. :lol[/quote]

You guys really think the police are going to share info like that?

They have to sign a free agent prior to doing so. Can't match then sign Bosh. Gotta be other way around.

The only players that Houston might want are Wright or Jae.
