Small market teams have to offer these type of contracts. Everybody talking about "MJ is dumb" but I wonder if the owner from the Jazz will receive the same backlash when he matches Jordan's offer .. Basically. Small Market teams have to overpay for talent most of the time word to Orlando and Channing Frye. But when they do in fact Match, they should go after Stevenson. Wonder how slighted he will feel when they give Hayward the Max and he doesnt get it.

You don't know where Carmelo would have went after his season with Denver. Just like you don't know where Love will go. There will be 3-5 teams that's he's going to consider. If LeBron agrees to come back, you get Love.

Is Lance really better than him though? Part of me wonders. I know one thing, If I had to pick one of the two I'd probably go Hayward, theyre of similar ability and one guy is much bigger and less of a headache.

For what its worth I think Gordon Hayward is better than Lance, its not a huge gap but its there.
