You got Noah, Butler (defensive only player) and who else? Most likely Boozer and Gibson are gone to get Carmelo. Hinrich is solid. McDourmett will be a bust. Rose is a ?. Who do the Bulls have that make them so good?

Where did I ever assume he will get hurt? I actually said I think he's gonna bounce back. I have nothing against Rose, besides for how dumb he is.

I'm just saying it takes patience and sacrifice to win it all. Melo ****** that up once already.

Do you honestly believe the Bulls can win it all with Melo?

Win it all, maybe, but there a shoe in at least to the conference finals with him, with or without a healthy Rose. Knicks are trying to sell him a dream. Waste another year of your prime and we MAY be able to get someone in 2015, as if they're the only team with cap room next summer.

You can google it. It was said last year that Boston had a deal worked out to send Rondo to the Kings but he had to sign the extension. He refused to and the deal died.
I just remembered that rumor getting busted pretty quickly when it became apparent that the Kings weren't allowed to trade any future 1st rd picks.

Regardless, any insight on if Rondo's tune has changed?

Even if he did say that, I think his tune can be changed.

Kyrie Irving intends to sign 5-year, $90 million extension with the Cavaliers, league source tells Yahoo Sports. Commitment came in meeting.

Thats a lot of money to give to a player who hasn't proved anything yet.

If Kyrie is worth $90 MM then I wonder what the market is like for Lowry.

@daldridgetnt: Cavs owner Dan Gilbert announces on his account that team and Kyrie Irving have agreed on max extension and will sign July 10.

Now all the *** holes can shut up about "kyrie leaving anyway"

The top FAs get signed to the biggest markets anyway and we have a pretty good chance to get one. Just like a depleted Lakers team. Its a cycle.

Melo's prime is different. His skill set is useful for a while. Sure his rebounding numbers might go down but he'll be able to average 20+ until he gets a serious injury.

All he has to do is look over at his best friend Lebron. You need offensive players you can rely on and a deep bench. Bulls have neither.

No, but they will be the 2nd best team in the East. Miami isnt that big of a threat anymore unless they add a BIG piece or two.

Id rather be 2nd best in the east and possible ECF matchup than bottom of the league losing year after year. thats just the truth. He doesnt want to lose anymore and go through BS, tell me what the Knicks can do to improve because i dont see much.

and no im not a Knicks hater, im just being real. I actually loved the team when they had Gallo and Wilson Chandler :lol

kyrie has missed 65 games in 3 seasons.

I think that more than anything is why this isn't a real surprise, given his injury history, he would have been foolish to turn that down.

Zyzz unless Miami gets broken up this offseason, they will always be a threat. The biggest one in the East.

Knicks have nothing to offer but the $$ and a future projection. But if Melo REALLY wants to win there are other teams he can go to and have a better chance at winning.

I'm expecting Waiters to be moved soon now that Kyrie got his extension
