Thing is "star" and "superstar" mean different things to different people. There's no standard definition for either term. DeMarcus Cousins is the best player on his NBA team and one of the better centers in the league. In my book, that makes him a "star" player.
leonard led the spurs to 60 wins and a title is what you're saying?!I'm sorryHe really said that
He's just the third youngest to win a finals MVP, and the youngest player(who actually played decent minutes in a game) who on a team full of vets, who were all but washed.
Course any team that makes the playoffs, have cohesion. But which one of those teams are you picking over the '14 spurs. And please, elaborate.
SUPERSTARS sell tickets anywhere they go. Duncan is a star but doesn't sell tickets everywhere. Hell, you can get great seats in San Antonio for cheap.Stars sell tickets anywhere they go
Demarcus is a great player no doubt but dont just look at his numbers & place the star stamp on him just because he put up 20 & 10 for one season
Kevin Love hasn't been to the playoffs. How is he on the second list given what whoever said needs his superstar to do? Which 1 of those things does Kevin Love do?
Bill Simmons wrote a good piece about Carmelo which included his idea of what superstar means.
I need my NBA superstar to sell tickets, generate interest locally and nationally, single-handedly guarantee an average supporting cast 45-50 wins, and potentially be the best player on a Finals team if the other pieces are in place.
Superstars: LeBron, Durant.
Almost-But-Not-Quite-Superstars: Blake Griffin, Dwight Howard, Anthony Davis, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Love, Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook, Paul George.
All-Stars: Stephen Curry, James Harden, LaMarcus Aldridge, Damian Lillard, Tony Parker, Tim Duncan, Dirk Nowitzki, Joakim Noah, Chris Bosh, Derrick Rose (if healthy), Rajon Rondo (if healthy), Kobe Bryant (???).
Sounds like you're talking about someone in your 5th period class. Are you talking about when he was drafted? If they traded him doesn't it mean they didn't want him.Why is Kobe going around spreading lies about Charlotte not wanting him?
This is one of the reasons I dislike him....great player but has a lot of *** tendencies.
*Scratch that, I know exactly why he's doing it. He knows 99.9% of his fans don't have any role models or guidance so they take his word as gospel.
They traded him because he openly said he didn't want to play there. That's different from Charlotte not wanting him at all but they figured to cut their loses and not deal with someone who clearly could pose a problem. I just hate when people create narratives with clear agendas. Tell the truth, there are plenty of articles detailing the facts of this matter since the day you were drafted.Sounds like you're talking about someone in your 5th period class. AI's speech is gonna have people all in their feels
leonard led the spurs to 60 wins and a title is what you're saying?!
you should leave. your credibility left when you said the vets on the spurs were all but washed. youre giving leonard way too much credit. he finished the series nicely, that's it.
What's the agenda? I'm lost. They traded him because he openly said he didn't want to play there. For a dude that's been so foul himself I find that pathetic.Kobe wants to be MJ so bad.
He still hold grudges, like MJ does(being cut by his HS team, being picked number 3, etc)
Kobe's HOF speech will be amazing though
bruh you said they were nearly washed. they were the best team from the start of the year and leonard wasn't the 2nd or 3rd reason for that. or 4th. the hell you talking about? My manleonard led the spurs to 60 wins and a title is what you're saying?!

If you took the time that it took to right this post.... to scroll down
You would have seen the post that clearly stated me giving credit to the vets for being unselfish
Reading bruh, FUNdamental
Just seen this fool Shabazz napier on an american flight what a *****
Is there a team that doesn't have a star player?
Just seen this fool Shabazz napier on an american flight what a *****
whats wrong with that?
Not that im saying we was on the same flight next to each other n he was acting like he was a god im like bruh relax man you sitting with me in coach just trying to have some convo about the League.
IMO, the agenda is Kobe painting this picture of being the last old-school minded baller which is true in some aspects. He takes his shots at the younger guys for teaming up and so on but then does things like this where he completely acts as if he doesn't and hasn't had his moments of entitlement. He utilizes a lot of revisionist history when it comes to moments in his career to paint this picture of a guy who's been through the ups and downs of his franchise, who always toughed it out or struggled through the growing pains but that isn't 100% true. And I find it sad that someone as accomplished as he is resorts to that. What's the agenda? I'm lost.
