The best PG in the league has been a circular augment and every year it's someone different.

I think CP3 has worn the crown for about 4 years now but it's time to give it up to Westbrook at this point.

He's younger, most athletic thing we've seen in this league in awhile, comes back from major injuries like it's nothin, can't be contained on offense OR defense.

But really the whole PG debate is really on what your team needs. It's all preference when discussing Parker/CP3/Curry etc...
This.

Russ and CP3 is 1a and 1b imo but it depends on how your team is made up.

This isn't fair. Blake has come a long way and is better than what many people think in the scenario you just posted. Thing is, with CP3 on your team you are going to go to him before blake down the stretch. That actually changed quite a bit last season, and I think that trend continues more and more this season.

Agreed. I think with the growth he showed last season, the next step for Blake is to become more of a go-to guy in close games down the stretch. With this improved FT shooting and midrange game, I think its going to happen.

That said, I wouldn't be mad if we manage to pick up another a wing who can create his own shot better than the 3s we have now.

Yeah he is but CP cant check Westbrook which puts him over CP

Westbrook can't really check CP3 all that well either though.

I dont think anyone can when CP3 constantly calling for picks.
You could say the same thing once Russ gets a running start.

A running start? Im sorry his speed is too much for most PGs....Calling for picks just to get separation aint really battling

If the bulls and OKC make it to the finals watching Rose vs Russ in a 7 games series would be

So NBA basketball is a 1-on-1 game now? Screens are a part of the game. If you want to "check" your man, then fight over the damn screen.

This is true. But when you see CP3 play now you see the difference...it happens to all players
He is starting to show the signs of aging. Nothing wrong with that.

He's had a few injuries + age + being so small + carrying his teams on his back his whole career has had it's affect. Still can't front on Cliff but he's not what he once was

It's basketball man. You rarely are going to play strictly one on one basketball as a point guard. The name of the NBA game right now is screen and roll. It's not a knock on CP3 because he's an excellent Pick and Roll player.

Yeah you can see CP3 is starting to slow down, he isn't as quick as he once was.

Clipps sale to Balmer official as of today. :smokin He's been approved by the league.

Legal experts say that Sterling can continue to appeal and sue, but its a done deal.

Exactly. You see a TON of high Screen and Rolls happening more often now than you ever have before. Also, with this motion offence, how the Hell is anyone going to strictly play someone 1-on-1?

Its not about 1 on 1...the point i was getting across was CP3 cant check Westbrook regardless and someone said westbrook cant check CP last i checked Westbrook been cooking all the PGs in the League.

Yea pretty much. Back in the 90's the only team that was using the P&R was Jerry Sloan's Utah Jazz. That was due to Karl Malone being an athletic beast and John Stockton being too slow and not athletic enough to play 1on1.

But now with no hand checking P&R is even more deadlier. It's apart of the game. You'd be a fool not to use it very chance you get
