Kobes?

5/6 > 4/3>>>>> the rest

LaMarcus, over Anthony Davis. :lol :lol

why is this laughable? if you are basing your preference on the next season and not a projection, why not go with LMA?

Despite two playoff games where he torched a tweener playing 4, he's an 6'10 4 who prefers to shoot 15 foot jumpshots. Imo, he is who he is at this point

valid point. while he is who he is, you can still run your offense through him and he can go get his own shot.

my thing is with AD, everyone is ready to crown when he's still unproven on the offensive end. the majority of his buckets came as a roll man, which doesn't scream offensive cornerstone.

So AD only plays offense?

AD on defense >>>>>>LMA on offense. So there's that.
And LaMarcus isn't really a beast on D, so he isn't going to overwhelm AD's offensive game.

And AD grows in his game by the second, LMA been the same guy for 8 years.

Would take Blake over everyone not named KD or Lebron.

Scores in a variety of ways in an efficient manner, is a borderline exceptional playmaker, elite ball handler for position, Fantastic rebounder when needs to be, (That is, when DJ isn't around grabbing every rebound in sight) Great Pick and Roll defender, and an underrated post defender, 24 years old, and has progressed every year he's been in the NBA.

Very very soon, Anthony Davis is going to make LMA comparisons laughable.

How dare you guys make fun of Mario Chalmers, don't you know you're making fun of a top 5 pg, :smh

There's a lot projecting with AD right now

There's a difference between projecting and what he is now

What he is now?

K, well, this year, at age 20, he posted the 4th best PER in the NBA, behind Durant, LeBron, and Love.

He went
21 points
10 boards
1.5 assists
3 blocks
1.5 steals per game, in less than 36 minutes a night. While shooting 52%

He had a 10.4 win shares. led the league in blocks, and was 10th in rebounding.

At age 20. And as you folks are trying to say, he's not even that good yet. :lol

LaMarcus, in his whole career, hasn't put up a year better than Davis last season, soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo?

Wow. Dont do that man those are yours to keep. I appreciate the gesture though.

AD is an exponentially better defender/rebounder at 20 than LMA is at 28. AD also had a higher FG% at 0-3, 3-10, and 10-16 feet. Granted, that doesn't factor in what kind of shots they are...but still worth noting

LaMarcus' game is too feast or famine for me. Only so many turn around fadeaways you can make. One game its not going to fall and hes going to be lost out there.

AD right now is better than LMA.

AD's offensive game is a bit underrated and we already know how great of a defender he is. AD has a nice face up game. Money with the midrange and can take his man off the bounce on most nights. Still has work to do in regards to when he plays against guys like Blake who are bruisers and physical down low. He also could stand to get a back to the basket game as well. That being said, AD is better than LMA simply because LMA just isn't that good relative to the rest of the PF crop right now to me.

I just can't get with a 22PPG a game on 45% PF with no D and doesn't shoot and 3's. There's nothing really that impressive about LMA when you consider there are guys like Blake, K Love, and AD who play the same position he does and are better than him.

top 5 bum pg who thinks hes elite right under mo williams

A.D.'s offensive game improved by leaps and bounds last year. He's not even remotely destitute on that end like the narrative seems to go.

I thought Anthony Davis was Joakim Noah with a higher offensive ceiling around draft time.

What a terrible comparison he's making given his rapid development. :lol
