Parsons isn't worth the money but I do understand the mind state of wanting to prove himself to be that third star. He was the afterthought throughout this process...Morey didn't see him as a true necessary piece...and yet they still could've held onto him on the old contract and then paid him next year if need be or let him walk instead of doing all these contract gymnastics.
