League sources: NBA sent memo today indicating 30 teams could vote on slightly revised lottery reform proposal at Bd of Gov later this month

Proposal follows same general principles as the one I outlined here, with some small tweaks in the odds/percentages: http://grantland.com/the-triangle/nba-lottery-reform-is-coming/

Tweaks include decreasing odds just a bit for lotto teams with the best records, sources say. Lottery would draw top-6 picks, up from top-3

Vote possibly taking place at B.O.G. later this month shows league has interest in implementing reform for the next lottery/draft.

why did randle go from kobe 9s throughout college to wearing lebrons after joining the lakers?

no wonder he's not starting

Kobe & Nash probably won't be playing in the first exhibition game next Monday down here in SD.

Sucks for Laker fans who pay a grip for those tickets to see the Lakers and Kobe and Nash.

Another reason why I've never gone to a pre season game here and would rather pay and make the 2 hour drive up Staples Center to watch a Laker game.

This...

I was gonna go because we get discount tickets on base...but I'm in LA every other weekend to see my daughter so I'll catch plenty of games in Staples...plus staples just has that feel to it.

Man the 28th won't come fast enough!!!

I think Kobe looks good obviously he's not playing against top comp but he looks bouncy and not hobbled.

How does he look to some of our more critical brothers in here ?

Not a loaded question

Certainly looks good with the ball, but that's never been a fear or concern of mine.

Defensively, he just stands there, still. And that won't change. Not because of injury, but just overall energy/age. He can defend in short spurts, but that's it.

Yeah Kobe lookin good fellas thanks for the responses, I can't see him averaging less than 23 per game because he'll have the green light and he's got a point to prove.

Not a statistician but 8/9 fgs and 6/7 fta seems very realistic along with 3.5 boards and 4 assists, I just hope he and Byron don't try and do to much too soon.

I honestly think this team will overachieve because they've all been counted out already including #24 so they could sneak up on some people, Lin is decent, Randle seems like he's gonna be all over the paint, Swaggy is good in the 6th man spot, clarkson looks like a steal, hill does dirty work along with Boozer. Just wish we had a 3 point specialist to keep the court spread and defense honest, when teams pack the paint it could get ugly.

In full disclosure I've been known to be an eternal optimist :lol, that could explain my point of view in majority of my posts.

Nick Young has a torn ligament in his right thumb and will miss about eight weeks, The Times has learned. Bad start for the Lakers.

Welp
