Yup and defensively he wasn't close to being a lock down defender like he was in his prime.

Young Frobe relished going up against Pippen. They had verbal jabs at each other where Pippen would say "Kobe is trying have a MJ game like flu game performance".

Kobe said Pippen tried playing and guarding him dirty and would hit him in the ribs on jump shots.

Of all the things to be upset about being said about Kobe, he likes to shoot, and he likes to pump fake a billion times, are the two lowest ones to be concerned about.

How anyone can be upset about those kind of jokes, now, in 2014, is beyond me.

I was at Game 1 of the Finals when AI gave the Lakers their only playoff loss in overtime while stepping over Ty Lue.

That was the only playoff game I went to that season also

I'm fairly new to this thread but Kobe is the pump fake champion. Gets people in the popcorn machine all day. And gets a lot of fouls/and ones from it. In no way did I see that as slander about KBB. I visited the Kobe Hate thread once and left with a quickness. Them dudes say some terrible stuff.

Yeah, guys spend too much energy trying to discredit what Kobe's done. I've seen a lot of "2009 Dwyane Wade was better than Kobe" like that would somehow take away his 2009 ring if it were true.

But hey, maybe I'm no longer allowed to speak on that since I'm critical of today's Kobe/Lakers...

Obviously the haters thread thing was an exaggeration so dont take that and run with it.

I was saying on my mama that pump fake thing rustled my jimmies and is what really made me say something in the first place.. i dont even post that much but that did get me, it was like a batsignal

Ska pump your brakes because im not a kobe guard dog who will defend him to no end, lord knows i dont have the energy for that because hes easily the most hated athlete ever. Plenty of stuff i dont respond to i just notice P takes a lotta side shots at kobe and decided to speak on it.

People pullin up quotes but not when i post how P seems like a good level headed dude, i just said he doesnt like kobe and he never said i was wrong just that he tells it like it is.

Maybe within the last year, which makes sense since that's when he signed that contract. The contract and its effects are where most of the animosity comes from.

And the point of pulling your quotes wasn't to show you were always on Pmatic or anyone's case all the time, of course that's not true. It was to show how you started attacking people's fandom when they said something negative about Kobe.
