Bynum putting off surgery led to Pau's demise in 2011 because he had to play more minutes than he should have. I firmly believe that to this day.

We’re on the same page LTB, I’m not worried about fussing with people over single games, never was.
But I’m positive that the other side won’t make it 2 weeks without ******** at Laker fans that cheer for losses.
They couldn’t do it last year. After every loss they came in and bashed us over and over, and when we got pissed over wins, they cried about their feelings being hurt.
In the end, we were just the bad guys no matter the outcome of the games, win or lose.
Not a big deal. People can cheer whatever direction they want, I’m more worried how Mitch handles everything. If he allows the team to win meaningless games late in the year like last year, there will be a ton of anger for not being proactive. Fan bickering is just different views on the same goal. What Mitch does is what ultimately matters, and last year he failed, miserably. I don’t want a repeat of that from him again.
As for Bynum, just sheer bad luck. He was a perfectly healthy legit 7 footer, it was in no way his fault that Kobe came down on his knee, and altered his career forever. Bynum clearly got a little loose after that and started doin weird stuff that never helped his image, but imo, the kid worked hard as hell to try and get back out there, his body just failed him.
He clearly improved over the years, he clearly worked on his actual game, just one bad hit to his knee changed everything about where he could have gone in his career.

Even as tough as this year will be, we'll get closer and closer to getting out of Nash's contract, Kobe's contract, Young's contract, and we still have Houston's pick at least, even if we don't get our top 5, so we still have things to look forward to.

I don't have anything in front of me, but I would guess they are eval-ing whether to do a longer term cheap deal, hoping he's legit and they can keep him very cheap for a couple years, otherwise, they would just give him a million for this year (just under) and call it a day.

I disagreed bro nothing more, I didn't mock or insult anyone's intelligence at all, and I definitely wasnt sarcastic so I don't think my post falls under those choices.
Nothing wrong with disagreeing if its done respectfully or under normal trash talking circumstances I don't see anything wrong with poking a lil fun at each other.
There's a difference between talking crap if someone's wrong and being straight up disrespectful to others with a different opinion.

It looks like there's gonna be 2 "sides" again this year, but I think everyone can coexist cause we're all Lakers fans. We can disagree and poke fun from both sides, I think last year just taught us we should choose how to word it more carefully. We can disagree and discuss without attacking and getting offensive.
Just hoping for a good forum for the next year. We can do it
