Seriously man . Violates every tenet of a decent trade. Big for small, 19 for 25, healthy for injured. This is what the suns are asking, not what la is offering

However this year's roster does remind me of something....hill=Kwame nash=McKie clarkson=javaris houston pick=marc gasol . There's a deal to be had somewhere this season

How can you NOT be hyped for Kobe's last 2 years after watching that video?

Contending or not, Lottery team or not, I don't know about you guys but I'm excited to see Kobe on the hardwood for these last 2 seasons.

I know his body ain't what it used to be but I hope he's able to give us at least 60 games this season. If he does there'll be guaranteed some memorable shots/games. If we're going to suck at least we'll get to see Kobe lace up for the last time and I'll appreciate it for damn sure.

100% agree man. The way some Lakers fan talk, you would think this dude didn't just give us 18 years of a top 10-15 career. We have been lucky to have one of the greatest players ever lace em up for us for the past 18 years. Can't wait to see what he has to give us for the final stages of his career. I just have a bad feeling he is going to get injured again.

in regards to the '10 game 7, kobe had an off game but contributed in other areas of the game. if kobe had just a decent game shooting wise the celtics would of been blown out by the end of the 3rd. it would of been a repeat of game 6. im hyped now .

Last few days, I went back and took a closer look at his stats, his stats are a lot better than people give him credit for.

Not to mention, the man was in his prime for over a decade. 22-34 years old. Sure his defense slacked a little once he had the knee problems in 2011, but his numbers all around were numbers that mid to late 20s he was putting up.

I didn't quite appreciate his 2010 season when he would score high 30s-40 because I was spoiled from the 50-60 point Kobe

Between this and the video, I wish there was a way we could see Kobe add another meaningful chapter to his career. He doesn't even need to be old school Kobe for it to happen (see Tim Duncan).

I've come to terms that it might not happen given the things that have been discussed in here ad nauseum. I will enjoy his last years on the court just because he is my favorite player ever, but I wish he were playing for higher stakes.

My frustration with him is that he screwed himself out of that opportunity. Not guaranteed, but the chances are very high.

I wanted more for him in his last few years, so they could add more to these dope videos instead of anticlimactic clips they probably won't.
