2013 College Football Thread (Realer than Real Deal Holyfield -->S/O Craftsy)

So ucf beats louisville but the cards still get ranked higher than ucf. **** does not make sense at all.
At all...

And Auburn jumped HELLA teams. I dont know if beating a A&M team that plays absolutely no defense is worth jumping like 13 spots.

Long and Diggs BOTH broke their leg :x

Mizzou is good, but not THAT good... both UGA and UF were decimated with injuries.... They will be brought back down to earth soon enough

Red Raiders :hat

Despite their record, Ole Miss should be in the top 25

Same with Mizzou beating a horrid UF team. I guess I can see their big leap since they haven't lost, but Auburn? HELL no

Florida missing easley mat Jones and driskal. I'm pretty sure somebody else to

:x :x :x I was trying to figure out how the hell Wake beat UMD like that. Now I see :{ :{

Hasn't been a good 2 yrs up there @ UMD for Diggs

How does Baylor and Missouri jump USM I understand Missouri. But not Baylor.

Because, Carolina

A full healthy Florida team still wouldnt have an offense though so idk how different their record would really be honestly,

Only things I saw super funny about the AP were the leaps by Mizzou and Auburn

Yea both of those are TERRIBLE rankings. Mizzou jumping to 5 for beating a team that's not even ranked anymore? Auburn jumping 13 spots for that win? SEC bias is crazy :{

Game gonna be CRAZY hyped....feels like old times...hope it rains in tally so the spirit of Sean Taylor rolls through...he was killing fsu that year :lol :( r.i.p.

1000

Rix was throwin everything to 26 that day :{

Why UM lets any other player wear that number is beyond me....

26 should be retired forever |I

LMAO Oregons D Coordinator saying Leach is "low class" because they kept passing in the 4th quarter, are they supposed to give up?

http://espn.go.com/college-football...gars-low-class-says-oregon-ducks-nick-aliotti

With a lopsided defeat well in hand, the Washington State Cougars had other business to take care of Saturday night against the No. 2 Oregon Ducks.

For their late effort, Cougars quarterback Connor Halliday set a Football Bowl Subdivision record for pass attempts with 89 -- and drew the ire of Duck defensive coordinator Nick Aliotti.

Aliotti called it a "low class" move by Washington State coach Mike Leach.

"I am kind of stunned he would keep his quarterback and crew in there,'' Aliotti told reporters after the Ducks' 62-38 win, according to The Oregonian. "And still he threw the ball with 20 seconds left. But he did.

"They want stats, they got stats. But we got the most important stat, and that's the 'W,' and we are happy about that.''

Trailing 55-24 to start the Cougars' first drive of the fourth quarter, Halliday made 28 more passes to break a 15-year-old FBS record set by Drew Brees with Purdue -- by six attempts.

"That's total (B.S.) that he threw the ball at the end of the game like he did,'' Aliotti said, referring to Leach. "And you can print that and you can send it to him, and he can comment, too. I think it's low class and it's (B.S.) to throw the ball when the game is completely over against our kids that are basically our scout team.''

Halliday completed 58 of 89 passes total for 557 yards and four touchdowns for Washington State (4-4, 2-3 Pac-12). He didn't hand the ball off once during the fourth quarter.

But the Ducks (7-0, 4-0) picked off Halliday four times, including one interception that was returned 51 yards for a touchdown by Terrance Mitchell early in the fourth quarter. Halliday leads the nation with 17 interceptions.

"I'm repeating myself," Aliotti reiterated, unprompted, several questions later in the media session. "But again, in the end he's still throwing at a time when most guys would try to end the game and go home."

Maybe he was more concerned about kids getting hurt, or maybe he's just whining. Don't know and don't care, but he should have just kept it to himself. Furthermore, I hate when people try to turn football into Desperate Housewives.

Right but we all know a Leach offense is 90% passing, so why would he expect them to run it? I highly doubt he was saying "go get the passing records for attempts!"

If Bama, Oregon, and FSU wins out who goes to the championship?

Cause FSU would have beat #3 Clemson at Clemson then #7 MIami

Im worried the polls might jump FSU over us even if we win out

Oregon please blow out UCLA and Standford

37 pt victory over the #3 team might vault them over UO tonight.

But undefeated is so far down the line, so much football to play

FSU might have to beat us twice. Or beat Vtech who's also going up.in the polls

I think if FSU was ever going to jump Oregon it would've been this week, and if they don't after the Miami game (IF they win) they definitely won't
