Honestly though is anyone that really watches college football surprised by this. I thought it would be a convincing win but not this bad. 7 in a row

Yep, I honestly thought they could at least be on the same playing field physically with the elite. Progress has been made but Still not very close for this kind of spot.

I'm more interested in seeing what ND does next season. Like Jay said earlier they basically were the same team that loss those close games last season just made a few plays on defense along with some luck this season to end up undefeated, could have easily had 3 or 4 losses. I don't think they were as good as 12-0 or as bad as 8-5 probably somewhere in the middle.
Bama should be no. 1 going into next year along with A&M and probably UF/UGA in the top 5 with them.

I'm optimistic that Driskel will make a nice jump from his first to 2nd year the defense should comeback mostly intact. Finally got some receivers coming in that hopefully make an impact. That Louisville debacle may hurt us a bit though. They should be in the top 10 for sure.
