All this talk about Oregon vs Bama needs to stop, Ducks aren't making it out of Corvallis with a winning record :smokin

Totally agree.
USC was fighting to keep it close. (as evidenced by being down 17 with a minute left and not letting any back ups get some reps :x and going for 2. )
The second USC kicked that 1st FG, they Lost the game.
IMO, 4th and 5 vs Oregon, inside your 30, you HAVE to go for it.
You have to be complete opposite of football tradition.

Nah, Chip was scoring to the end so CLK did the same. It's always a pissing contest between those two. No way CLK was going to pull his guys out and "give up"... Waive the white flag. I'm glad he didn't. You can do that with classy coaches, but CLK knows you put the back ups in, say you get a 3 and out, Chip will have his guys go down the field and score on you again. No way Jose.

Still failing to see the awful, generous calls that led to that 21-3 cushion. Lee scoring before the half would've cut the lead to 3, and receiving the ball to start the second half. Playing to stay close, nah bro youse wrong.

Saban has a point though. If you ever get to attend a Ducks game live just look at Chip. He's yelling at the officials all game to set the ball up faster. On two occasions, ball was snapped and the chains weren't even set up..

JM's post are always entertaining but I hate the team A made team B look silly so Team C will win easily argument. Different matchups, different personel, schemes, prep.

Yes we are "somebody" but the defense is horrid and gave up 600+ yards the week before. Pete Carroll isn't running that D :smh:

THIS. Just because LSU played great against BAMA's defense doesn't mean Oregon will.

As a Oregon die hard fan

Alabama
LSU
Florida
South Carolina
Georgia

are the ONLY teams in the country that would worry me a little during a game

The players in the SEC are physical and solid. Look at Bama running backs, South Carolina D line :x :smh: :smokin

and plain and simple we are not. We are fast and put players in the right place.

Im anxious just to really see how good we are up against a SEC team so im all for a Oregon vs SEC Championship

last time we was pretty close to getting a W verse Cam Newton lost 22-19 (everybody thought cam was gonna go ham)

Yards per play is a better measure of how good (or bad) a defense (or offense) played in as opposed to Total Yards

Bama's D struggled yesterday because the offense couldn't stay on the field. Their second half drives were 3, 3, 5, 3, 3 and 5 plays. Corners were being left on islands and playing too soft in the second half. To compound that, their pursuit after the catch was pathetic. Too many piss poor angles that led to huge YAC. I expect all of those things to be corrected this week.

You have to look at the body of work, not just one game.

But I like to look at stats! Actually watching a team play and analyzing them? That **** is for the birds.

Oh, and jerseys. I like cool color combos and shiny stuff.

It was nice that Barkley came back as a senior and was able to play an amazing game on the big stage. Must suck to get out played by a freshman though

There is no body of work...LSU is the ONLY decent team they have played this year...and, I use decent loosely...

Michigan has one player and Miss St has a decent DB...not good teams...

If Alabama can't contain the passing "attack" of LSU...they have no hope against an Oregon team with never ending weapons...

JM

Yup clearly outplayed a QB that threw for 484 yards and 5 TD's. Two INT's and one of them was due to the Lee mugging. Otherwise we are looking at a 500 yd 6 TD game.

Both the 75+ yard strikes are the reasons why Barkley will be playing on Sundays.

Barner was the reason Mariota had those lanes. Safeties were biting, Oregon much like Arizona exploited our young, talented but inexperienced DL.

And who exactly has Oregon played?...that D is still suspect, and as stated before....Bama is a greater matchup problem for Oregon...Oregon's oline and dline have not played any SEC caliber opponents, and Bama's front seven would alleviate Oregon's ability to keep the tempo up

You guys...

The games are over. Bama and Oregon won.

Let's move on to this upcoming week.
