What NBA players that are considered GREAT didn't want to take the last shot??

GO AHEAD..

I'll WAIT....

a-friend, Don't get your feelings hurt, this has nothing to do with this thread and "my friends" :lol I'm sorry you got flamed when you first posted, but let it go.

It's less about treating a topic as dead because "we discussed them first" but more that these arguments just go in circles and have for years on here. My complaints clearly don't stop the discussions, it's not like I have any power :lol and everyone is free to go back and forth on it, which they do.

Thunder in 6

Miami in 6

Both equally rested.

Miami in 5 with a 3rd Ring

Okc Questioning coaching rather than a look in the mirror, then Football season is upon us and everyone forgets who plays which position in the NBA until April 2015

again BigJ, your not the only one posting here. Topics will be rehashed, and then again rehashed, get off that

checks sig

ok, yea you know. this year its gonna be even harder for them to win the title.

as far as im concerned, god blessed them with that title last year because they shouldnt have won it. SMH

either way, stop thinking its a cake walk. you arent even in the finals yet
again, shoulda, coulda, woulda. When did i say it's a cake walk? and checks sig? what does that have to do with anything?

you said in 30 days the heat will get a 3peat...

@SenorRoboto2k5  You spoke the truth, a player can be great without taking the last shot. Winning is winning, assisting the win is as important if not more important than the win, you can step back and let someone else eat because the focus is on you, that's a grown man move

Again.. I'm not saying they're not allowed to be rehashed or that I'm the only one. Let it go, it's not your fault. It's not your fault.

Give it a few years of these rehashed topics and you might see where I'm coming from.

It's a message board. You may be here every day. Not everyone is. Get off the rehash the same topic mess. Basketball topics that are relevant will be discussed. Forever, now or 9 years from now

This has nothing to do with everyone needing to love Lebron. You don't have to.. I'm a fan.. I can see why people wouldn't be fans.. that's life.

But we really need to stop going over some of these same "issues" time and time again. The whole "clutch" thing in particular. I just read "But when it counts..." THE WHOLE GAME COUNTS :lol From the opening tip to the final buzzer.. that all counts. Points aren't worth triple in "crunch time". Just because Lebron doesn't shoot the final shot doesn't mean he isn't clutch. He's not free from criticism just because he's won a couple rings.. but this argument has been dumb for years. It's a joke we're still going over this.

Then of it's the "Lebron is bailed out by his teammates". I can't recall seeing a guy get criticized for his teammates playing well as much as Lebron :lol And it's not even the whole "Shaq carried Kobe" narrative (which isn't true but not the point).. but Lebron gets criticized because his teammates hit shots. What?!? :lol "He got bailed out".. if Lebron put up 10 ppg in a series and they win.. then YES, he got bailed out. But just because shooters hit shots or defenders defend or teammates play well doesn't mean he got bailed out.

That's all I've really got to say about that.

:smokin

I may be a homer, but I was liking Westbrook as the best athlete and fastest guard before Rose bit the dust the first time. I got mad discussions for my opinion on that topic.

He passed to Grant who had a easy 2. Thats understandable.

Its MJ though. How many times has he already proven he isn't scared of big moments????

He carried his team through all 6 championships.

Lets be real here. Big shot after big shot from MJ.

Highlights for days.

Every teamate of Robert Horry didn't want, scratch that, didn't get to take the last shot. And he had some great Stars as teamates. He got the last shot, forever
