Yo, one things for sure...As hated as Obama is, i'm almost constantly fascinated with how dude has had NOTHING come to light. This guy is pretty damn clean as far as private life goes.

Can't say that for the rest of them. I'm sure if they could have dug something up they would have.

The Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers stuff was childs-play compared to what everyone else is up to.

Dude is literally teflon.

Nothing has come to light because people don't do their own research. It's well known and documented he worked for Business International Corporation...

You can do it at school (If you still go), Your Government teacher will make you fill out a form, Then you get a registration form sent to your mail. (Don't know if all schools do this though)

I'm 18 and won't be voting, probably never will.

But this thread is appreciated, will save it.

Why? IF none of the nominies favor what your willing to vote for, then what is your ideal candidate?

That's what I'm saying. I live in Texas and word around here is that Perry dropped out today because of some things that are gonna come out of his closet soon. Supposedly he and one of his staffers/aides would hire male escorts and... well you guys know the rest. I don't know how true all of this is but it's coming from pretty reliable sources. I guess we'll see how this pans out. Not surprised that so many republicans have so many personal problems.

Cool to see the thread gain some legs.
I updated the OP with some of my own content contributions. I will try to do that every night along with everyone else's posted content.

I heard about this rumor going back to 2003/4 a few months ago

It got reported then squashed. The rumor was that his wife walked in on him and caused some big uproar.

I'll just play that anti-gay video he made when if that comes out.

Ron Paww needs to win the Rep. nomination for them to have any chance. I'm not affiliated with either party but it would be cool to see who America chooses between the two..

Children, Ron Paul WILL NOT win the Republican Nomination.........Fox News does not even acknowledge this mans existence

Romney is your man, but America will not vote a Mormon into office in out lifetimes......................

Agreed, and I've been saying this for the longest time on here.  As far as Ron Paul running to get the Republican Nomination he's wasting his time and the people supporting Ron Paul running for the Republican Nomniation are wasting their time as well.  It's time for Ron Paul to pack it up and go home.  Now if Ron Paul wants to run as a 3rd party candidate then more power to him, that's his best bet.

A lot of hate aimed at Ron Paul. To those of you that do not want to see this man in office or do not agree with his political views why is that? It seems like this is the only guy that is willing to bring "change." He's been consistent with his views and is not scared to go against the Fed. His views on economics, big vs small govt, civil liberties, environment, and foreign policies are spot on with what the general public claim they want. I would vote for this guy, even though the Rep do not want to see him in office.

His "change" isn't a positive change. It's insanity.
I'm not sure what "general public" you're talking about, but I'm not a part of it.

Why do you think?
Republicans hate RP because he's taking away voters.

Liberals hate RP because he has taken away a ton of independent voters especially the young voters.

Personally I didn't know much about RP until about a couple monthswhen I basically spent a whole week watching videos of his speeches, interviews and other people's views of him and I was thoroughly impressed .

Look at these videos below and tell me this man can't lead America to something better than what we have currently which is basically party lines between Republicans and Democrats.

edit...

Can you elaborate on which parts are insane?  I am not trying to argue I just want to be educated why people like you think his stances are insane.

Because I have liberal views. I'm all for government regulation and oversight. I think abolishing the Energy, HUD, Commerce, Interior, and Education departments is crazy.

Colbert and Cain are holding a rally right now...

Clearly, this is a reincarnation of the 1800 election. Jefferson vs Hamilton, where some people are for govt regulation while others want to limit it. I think the government's been over regulating for years and steering this nation off course.

Yeah, I agree with you there. However, I don't think it's so much the President as it is the Legislature. Neither party is firm on their stance anymore. Frankly, I don't think either party even has a clue what their basic stances are anymore.

To be completely honest, I'm voting for Obama simply because I'm afraid of what a Republican president will do. It'll be too much of a knee-jerk reaction.

I voted for Obama, and I'm more scared of what he's capable of doing once he's established his second term.

Thanks for the response.  Let me research on what RP's stances are on abolishing the above mentioned and WHY he want's them abolished.
