So, these showed up online a couple weeks ago on my search for obscure old shoes. I immediately started doing my research and my conclusion was that they were fake, as once I questioned the seller about the authenticity of them and how she got a pair, she didn't respond. She responded today saying that she didn't see my message and that she had bought them in high school (2006-2010) online to replace her DC's. She said she thinks it was Zappos. These sneakers are supposed to be of a limited release of 24 pairs. The most obvious thing I've noticed is that the panel and swoosh on this pair (and the fake ones I see on cheap websites online) is pink opposed to the purple on the original poster from the Atmos event and the one pair I've been able to find online. The one pair i've found online is from this reddit link (https://bit.ly/3ENNzz7) where the seller says he was first in line that night on Thursday, June 21st 2007. There was a kids pair that looked like the ones I'm looking at that sold for 250 on eBay and were "guaranteed authentic", one pair that was size 8 "Guaranteed authentic" and a pair that was size 8.5 sold on Grailed that were "guaranteed authentic". I'm pretty certain this pair I'm looking at is fake as there is some off stitching and the collar cut is messy, apart from the fact this is such a rare sneaker. I've noticed a few things here and there such as the ID number on the tag, style of tag, production date, lace color, and swoosh and panel color. I doubt anyone will care to converse with me about these, but... here are the links to the shoes.

The color code 312786-131 belongs to some High Dunk PRM cw.

That alone makes this pair suspect.

Ofcourse it's possible that these were a small run of customs based on that pair, but I doubt that. Also the possibility of Zappos selling cws with a 24 pair prod run is very unlikely.

In addition to this, that Dunk cw looks to be made in China, while your pair says Vietnam, and the design (layout, fonts) of the shoe size tag of your pair looks off compared to legit ones from that era, and it shows features that were also quite common on fake Nikes back then.

Hey so I have a pair myself! I happen to look at your links and found that they looked nothing like the eBay ones but exactly like the one from Grailed. Which one did you think was fake? The one made in China or Vietnam?

Hello,

I came across a pair of these a while ago. The pair in the photos are about 90% correct. But they’re definitely fake. Everything is correct except the colors on the shoes. Instead of the 2 shades of pink they are supposedly to be 2 shades of purple. These are extremely rare to find an original pair because only 24 pairs were made for the 2 year anniversary of the opening of Atmos NYC. They were designed by Manu Custom and if you can get you hands on a pair you definitely have a great find. I am attaching a picture of my legitimate pair that I had verified by the person that designed them.
