Rumored Oklahoma State and Ole Miss have accepted bids to the Cotton Bowl...

Are we serious with this FSU to the Gator Bowl ?

Bowden or no Bowden they dont deserve that Bowl game. Miami or VT deserve to go.

from what I hear, Tenn is slated for Outback but theres a chance they take kentucky because of connections Kentucky has with some higher ups (which is crazy)but if UT doesnt get outback they will fall all the way to like the Liberty Bowl.

I think LSU is more likely headed to Atlanta for the Chikfila bowl
I'll go ask around

After visiting the Trojans this past weekend, UCLA is now out of the running and two schools -- USC and Oklahoma -- remain for the talented athlete.

"The UCLA players really disrespected me before the game," Jefferson said. "When they saw me, they were all cussing at me, telling me to never come around Westwood again and things like that. These were guys that I had hung out with before and it was a lot of the team. I guess I kind of see it since I was committed there and was wearing USC gear before their big game, but I still didn't appreciate it.

"I can't play with dudes like that, no way. I wasn't really sure about UCLA in recent weeks but I was still going to visit there but that's out. I still like the coaches, but when I told my mom what happened, she was upset too so they're out and I'm going to decide between USC and Oklahoma and they're dead even right now."

so what did he think was going to happen?

Only thing I've ever heard about Lance coming to FSU was as a LB coach. That was some weeks ago. I didn't think it had any validity though.

Main names I hear are Smart, Sunseri, Bud Foster and Greg Hudson.

I don't give much credence to the Bud Foster s-

Gotta imagine jones might be heading back to Palo Alto.

I had lost hope with Prater and Martin

but they need to act swiftly now to salvage the rest.

Looks like Teo going on a mission just became more likely.

If Teo goes on a mission he will not return to the Irish. Should have never gone there in the first place.

Correct me if I'm wrong, did Teo ever commit to stanford? Ive been reading that on the scout forums for awhile.

Dunlap out indefinitely.
Florida coach Urban Meyer announced after practice Tuesday evening that Dunlap has been suspended indefinitely from the team and will not play for the No. 1 Gators against No. 2 Alabama in the SEC championship game Saturday in Atlanta's Georgia Dome.

That's news to me, never heard of him committing to Stanford. He is a smart kid so I could see why Stanford would be in the running. To myknowledge it was between USC and ND at the end.

Rumor is that USC was

I don't really follow recruiting like any of the other guys in this thread but I had heard he was linked with Stanford. At the end though, every reportsaid it was between USC and ND (with some mention of ucla but meh) with him leaning towards USC. When he committed to ND I think it surprised a lot of peopleconsidering the LBs SC produces and the fact that he would have stepped right in to that starting spot.

But he seemed to really like the coaches over at ND and the LDS community over there. I've read the same thing ironman wrote about usc not liking the ideaof him leaving on a mission 1-3 years down the road, but I think that's more than likely salty fans saying "Well, we didn't want him anyway!"

And Mike to answer your question, compounded with all the other things he had going for him at SC and some of the other schools recruiting him, everyone knewthat Notre Dame was a sinking ship and he would never really get to play for the coaching staff that brought him in. There was no real upside to thatdecision.

Bowden built Florida State's program by scheduling tough opponents -- usually on the road. He was dubbed "King of the Road" in 1981 after playing consecutive road games at Nebraska, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh and LSU
I would like to see just one big time program

go out andtry some *%#+ like that and then call themselves the best in the land. or at least stop scheduling D2 schools.
