now i dont believe drake is bigger than Beyonce but to say that he could never be as influential is a mistake. the reason drake has gained so much attention isnt because he's light skinned and Canadian. the kid can can actually spit. further more he bridged a gap in rap that most artist were too afraid of even attempting to tackle. drake is one of the artist that made it okay to display emotion in your music, he defies the stereotypical rubric of the common rapper and that is why he will stand the test of time in the music industry 

So you're basically telling me Drake is going to be the biggest rapper ever, because no rapper yet has been able to reach the level of influence that pop stars have had since forever. 

Again...those prestige level artists remain relevant until they die. What rapper do you see that's out here on some Aretha Franklin **** ?

There is no "test of time" in rap. It always has and always will be a culture encapsulated in it's youth. Jay-Z is arguably the biggest rapper ever and his reach doesn't go further than his wife's. It's not possible. You get your money in rap while you still can and you get out and do other things. the older you get the less reach you have with the youth...and the youth is who decides what's cool and what isnt. That's been the blueprint. Beyonce can makes albums until she dies. Artists that do what she does has music that isn't 100% grounded in it's time. That's why they tour until they die. See Prince.

Were forgetting that Beyonce has seven more years of success that Drake hasn't. Drake is a once in a generation artist. He's arguably the biggest male artist at the moment and other than Eminem he's the biggest rapper. I agree that Beyonce is clearly more legendary at this point. But look where Mariah was 10 years ago and look now. Pop acts tend to fall off with the younger demographic. Age and being a rapper has nothing to do with it cause Eminem is still more popular than B and he's like 10 years older than her.

Beyonce deserves all the credit in the world but I believe the guy who's still dropping hits and building up his legacy is more popular.

Eminem is defenitely not bigger than Beyoncé or Drake at this point and hasn't been for a while

Numbers don't lie cause he had a #1 with his last album and he performed at Wembley in front of 90,000 people. Dude isn't even trying to make music like that but he still outsells and outperforms Beyonce in every metric possible.

She is hands down the biggest living artist in MUSIC right now. Like someone said, you can't fake a STADIUM being sold out.

Drake is the biggest artist in rap but don't let that make you say silly things like he's bigger than Beyoncé.

I'm sure the Tidal vs. Apple thing played into the sales. Apple probably has exponentially more users.

. Fam...she's getting 50M's to be the resident artist at The Colosseum for the next x amount of years. That HIGHLIGHTS my point.

Those type of artists can perform their music FOREVER. To you she fell off...because she isn't getting millions of streams on a Mike Will Made It single or some ****.

She fell off a bit after Sasha Fierce but shes still one the biggest artist in music and that's admirable afters 13 years as a solo artist. But shes reached her peak when it comes to popularity and hasn't come close to what shes done before. If she were like Em who's over 15 years in and still dropping hits then I could believe you.

Lemonade selling as much as it did without the hits proves that the fall off is impending. I doubt it's gonna be as bad as other pop acts but it's gonna happen.

If Beyonce was a bigger artist, her album would be selling alot more. Seems like Drizz' is the bigger artist.

A bigger artist doesn't mean better music
15 to 20 years ago these sales would've been avravage now selling 1.5 million albums in one week is a big deal

Fam Lemonade was a cultural event. Your grandma knows about Beyonce. She might not know who Drake is.

Bruh y'all need to stop with the Drake selling more than Beyonce (she's sold more WW so far) and as I mention, she'll be back to number 1 next week. She's going to overall outsell him here in the US (already WW). She's only behind him 200k (US) as of now. Not like he sold 10 million and she sold 500k lol.
