Only song I remember from Summer 2000 was Big Pimpin

Better than...
Wayne 08?
Kanye 07?
Em 00?
Pac 96?
50 03?
DMX 98?
Nah.
I can't get with Chance's flow and voice. Sounds so goofy. Maybe i'll come around to it, eventually.
I also thought the same but idk man, this project is straight
Idk if I'm gonna go back and check his other work...I heard nothing but good things about this so I figured it was worth a listen and it's...refreshing to say the least
Em's MMLP run and 50s GRODT are the biggest runs I've ever seen in Hip Hop. Never seen anything like it. Pac in 96 was HUGE. X in 98 was serious too. I think you gotta be above that 5x or 6x platinum album to even be in the discussion for biggest run in Hip Hop.
Drake's run as no.1 or no.2 has lasted longer than Em, 50, Pac, Earl Simmons though.
His fall was inevitable..No one can stay that high forever. He set the bar so high lol.If we're talking about runs in hiphop, we know who holds that crown
If we are talking single summers, then eminems 00-01 was huge, dude pretty much owned Carson Dailey and TRL, but 03 50's was bigger, I've never seen anything like that, dude had the industry shook. His fall off was big too

08 Wayne is when that ***** sucked. Anything after 07 never happened in my mind. 50 had the world on lock. We used to run around 7th grade and call out selves the t unit and everyone was a equivalent to a good unit member. Had us wanting to be flat out gangsters and throw our lives away but I don't think anyone will ever be as big as dude that year.
There were hilarious.This was crazy
"Good job that's it I'm doing great you ****"
Kardinal shout out

Close to MJ Thriller. Em in 2000 and 2002 were the only ones I could think of.

Nah I got you lol. The person that everyone somehow over looked is Nelly fromI ain't say the man sold 60 million or anything but he was the biggest thing in music at the time. Sorry for the hyperbole
Nah I got you lol. The person that everyone somehow over looked is Nelly from
2000-2002. He sold the most records by a rapper not name Eminem. His two albums out sold 50 first 2 albums.
While I was a fan of rap Nelly he is the og cloth to the drake mold. Dude was dabbling in 4 different genres at one time. But Country Grammer will always always get love from me.Nah I got you lol. The person that everyone somehow over looked is Nelly from
