Looks like animosity has been there from time. He didnt name diss Drake personally on the like most other artists on the album, he did it subliminally. This whole part was in reference to Drizzys album Views and ghostwriting, he even goes as far as the BlackBerry freestyle Drake did years ago. If you dont see this as a direct jab at Drake then do you even listen to music or do you just skim through it, no pun intended.

Definitely not a coincidence. He even said something about reference tracks on the don't Kamikaze. Then the term views, then talking about he only raps the hook if he writes the hook. I mean, i usually catch late on to sneak disses in raps, but this is obvious.

Bc he's the biggest artist in the game and it's common knowledge that he doesn't write 100% of his rhymes. Not personal beef but that's what it is. He makes that known on the album.

I mean its not a big deal the lines aren't saying anything that tons of other people have said. But we all know they were directed at Drake. Maybe if you didn't say the views part you could say "well a lot of rappers have ghost writers so its a general statement"

Drake’s at the top of the game duh! Em had his time, and he’s not the guy anymore.
Same thing when he admitted to being jealous of Wayne & Ye back when they were at their peak, and wanting to diss them. Unpopular opinion, but Drake would wassshhhh Em. He don’t want that problem hence the backpedaling.

Yup. I don’t knw why you laughing. Kids run the social media. It’s Drakes era, and Em is already considered outdated juxtaposed to Drake. A good portion his audience doesn’t even rock w him cuz they’re Trump supporters. Pusha already pulled the 1 card to body him and even that song wasn’t lyrical. He gonna say what everyone else said with more wordplay, and that isn’t enough.

Drake May be more “in” right now, no one is debating that. BUT that ain’t gonna wash Em. Em has enough left in skill and popularity to do what he needs to do.

Got you. Maybe wash is a strong word. But Drake indeed would win that. I liked what Meek had w Warpain. But nobody cared, cuz it’s a popularity contest. Em doesn’t can’t make a B2B or Summer’16. That’s where everyone is crippled going up against him.

Well, Drake was 16 and not relevant in 2002 so i don't get why you brought that up.
Now Drake would drop several sick bars about em being washed. And em would drop something super intricate about what we already know about Drake. Drake would probably win but not wash him.

Drake would wash Em, barring no controversies in his public life. If he ain’t get that porn chick pregnant, his beef with Pusha would’ve been done after Duppy. Em don’t got anything new he can address. And a lot of people have been on the “Em is trash” wave so he wouldn’t be winning the public opinion.
