They historical ratio already trash. I was keeping track for a while but im sure it's under 20%. That worse than american dating to marriage ratio.

But them ratings tho. That's the real metric. Went from FYI to Lifetime to being their no.1 show. That's what they really care about.

about this past episode, Gil was being kinda annoying about the whole financial thing but when he was talking to his mom, I get where he was coming from. Myrla wanted him to pay the bills on a firefighter salary. Leaving him with zero spending money. That’s why living in a high rise wasn’t ideal for him. I’m sure if Myrla pitched in, Gil would be open to it.

My father in law is a firefighter/EMT. They make "good" money, but they have to work a lot of overtime for great money. Also factor in how long they have been on the job, I think he might make low to middle 6 figures. However I think if he wants to get closer to 180/200 he needs a 3/4 days extra of overtime.

As far as Myrla and Gil go financially, there's a lot not being made clear. She made it seem like she would pay for what she wants. If she wants them to live in a high rise then she's gonna have to pay the bulk of that. Gil should swallow that pride and say if you want all this the lets agree that you're the breadwinner in the marriage.

I could see how finances could get ****** up with getting married at first sight. Maybe I’m weird but Im not opening up my books or asking financial questions in the first 60 days of meeting/dating a yamb. Even so, the fair and equitable thing to do would be to do would be to figure out how much they make as a unit and divide each of their salaries by the total and that’s the percentage they pay of the rent or bills or whatever.

It’s not like homie is jobless but if she wants to live that high rise lifestyle she’s going to have to pay high rise rent, with or without him.

We could do a better job of matching. All they do is reiterate "your here because what you were doing wasn't working". Or, they try to make them feel guilty for wanting to run for the exits when something seems off. Bringing up, that's what they always do Damn near forcing these people to stay in relationships that are obviously emotionally and mentally abusive in some cases. In others, there isn't any attraction, vibe, or connection.

What man is going to turn down bjs from a moderately decent looking chick? Especially if he's stuck with her for 3 months without the opportunity to go out and meet someone else, lol. For whatever reason he didn't want the yambs. That is a huge red flag. I wouldn't expect them to stay together. Something about her he didn't like or want.
