I'm sure this has been discussed at some point but these hybrids make me nervous for an ATC IV retro, as much as I'd like one.

The colors are so far off (where did dark magenta and teal come from???) and the heel plate "sunset" colors and pattern are nowhere near the originals:

I think they'll eventually retro and I think they'll do an ATC 3 with the right colors this time too. I don't know why it was **** the first time around. But I have a feeling they'll drop. That's just their pattern with some of the classics, they drop the hybrid version because its cost effective at the time, let's them test the market out, see if there are some marginal sales, and helps build up the thirst a little more for a true retro. Then when they drop a retro we're all so god damn grateful

It's why I don't compromise on hybrids and stuff like that. I copped those hybrid Bball huaraches for cheap when they dropped, tried them on, and sold them instantly, and now we're weeks, maybe even days away from a real retro.

Yeah the teal or jade (whatever you wanna call them lol) or the green look the nicest. Too much white already on the shoes to have white laces

The hybrids were never meant to be an exact retro of the original colorways of the atc iv's. It's as simple as that. Besides the fact that the back heel on the og's were made with plastic.

FTA just called about my cubes order. The guy said just to let you know the launch has been cancelled until 7/26. He gave me the option of cancelling or keeping the order.

At least theyre calling and letting ya know. I ordered the Jerry Rice Trainers from Champs and they wrre bqck ordered for 2 weeks, got the one email n that was it. Tracking info email didnt come til the day before they arrivee

The Flight Huarache Bball. I was giving an exame of a shoe everyone has wanted for years but got released as a hybrid, only to show up a year or two later as a true retro. It's not an example of an Agassi but it's a trend I've noticed with Nike.

The III would be no less cost-effective than the Hybrid. They've already used the sole on the Hua, so they could just as easily have brought those out instead. They've actually changed the Hybrid completely by putting it on a II sole instead of its own original unit, which was likely more expensive than just putting out the III in the first place. We'll see Flare and III next year though, so there's not too long to wait now.

Ive got a 2nd pair of FO's on ice & just came across a guy online who would be interested in swapping his Wimbledons for'em.......was never all that mad about the Wimbledons till I saw'em with the laces flipped

The III would be no less cost-effective than the Hybrid. They've already used the sole on the Hua, so they could just as easily have brought those out instead. I hope to HELL they don't retro the III with the current III sole on the huarache retro. That midsole is trash. The mold is awful. I much prefer the 2007 retro III midsole to the most recent one. At least it's made with the correct midsole material.

I prefer the light green laces. They make the shoe pop more. I took the badges off instantly too.
