No, he first played there in 1987, where I believe he might have worn the Air Trainer 1's there. Â He skipped a few years and didn't return until 1991, where he showed up in an all-white ATC 3. Â He won the tournament the following year in the white/grey/blue Air Challenge Huarache. Â He made the semis a few more times and the final once after that, but never won it again. ÂSo did he wear these in Wimbledon when he played? Or are these just colorways to commemorate his Wimbledon dominance
If you're looking for performance from these, you should probably limit your expectations cuz these won't match up to the performance, comfort and durability of current Nike Tennis shoes. Â Having said that, if you got a pair for cheap, why not? ÂIs it bad that I'm tryna play in some ATCIIs? If I got the turbo greens for $70 I woulda balled in them. Gonna get a pair of the huaraches to play in too once they go down in price more.
Yes... and I wanna say the OG Air Flares too cuz of the reverse Swoosh.II, III and IV make up Hybrids.

I think those are the 06/07 retro. Â The OG's had a backwards-Swoosh, while the 2000 retro had the Agassi "A" on the tongue tab. Â The 06/07 retro did come with the Nike tag.ÂThese look pretty new, are these the 2014 release or did the og have that nike tag?
congrats J0e and curio - wimbledons looking good!
how do they look with the grey laces? Â seems all the photos online are either the green SBs or the plain white flats
I'm just amazed at how strong of a following this line has. It might be a generational thing, a lot of dudes who grew up in the 80s and 90s love this style of clothing. And also, I feel like Agassi was sort of a rebel in Tennis with the way he dressed. Tennis, like golf, has always been a somewhat of a conservative type of sport and I guess he broke that mold.Â

These Wimbledon 2's are more comfortable than the other SP's. They're cooler on feet, and are definitely lighter than the others too. Perhaps it's the TecTuff. They're my favourite pair now.
Can we start the US Open 2 hype yet?
Haha.

We still sulkin over here .. and hangin on to those last 2 spots
