🎾 OFFICIAL AGASSI RETRO THREAD 🎾

^ I dunno... it's kinda hard to gauge the popularity.  But I'm guessin' the ATC II's will probably do better.

That's largely to do with the Yeezy II sharing the sole unit I reckon. It'll definitely be harder to get them than in '08 IMO. They sat for months on shelves in every Size? branch I went into at the time. A guy on the Tube was trying to tell me how the Wimbledons were fake Yeezy's, so you can imagine what we'll be dealing with around release date.

Close enough. With that said; if the one coming out are almost identical I have to pick another pair up; in my size this time.

I need some Lava's, so I'm gonna have to keep my eyes out.

Is there any talk of an ATC IV retro this year? The recentish III's were poorly done I thought, but the IV's should be easy enough to pull off.

^ S-O-L-E Collector... They didn't reference you specifically, but did include a link to this thread.

Funny how your pics made a full-circle...

I don't really mind that myself. I'm hoping these sit like they always have. Everyone in London is Jordan crazy, so I don't want anybody else to be wearing these. The only thing that worries me is that Huarache have blown up hugely over Christmas here, but that is the running model. Hopefully the ATC fly under the radar.

London is my second home. I assure you they are not Jordan crazy. Only basket players truly **** with Jordans. Otherwised if it isnt a Jordan III or IV, no one gives a **** (only saw three people rock any other jordans in the month I was there this summer). The shoes that they are crazy about is 80s-90s runners (Casual asics, Huaraches, Air Max 1s, etc). Seriously, outside of the IIIs and IVs heat stays on the wall for months. This is a pic I took in june. JUNE!

And I accidentally deleted the pics I took in Nike town which had every Jordan 11 low, every Jordan 1" OG" except the royals, several foams and chuckposites, and several more kicks I cant even remember.

their source is goosh026
.. page 32 of this thread..... They're dope to me/

At first I wasnt feeling em but I gotta agree, these are dope.

the scally chavs that lives around the housing estates in london only like to wear AM95 AMP TN (Tuned Air) and 90s and 1s

thats their fav shoe cuz if you get chased by the cops because you are selling weed, Js are way too heavy for running away from the cops, Js are more for the fashionable hipsters or black peeps that try to imitate the US hiphop rapper swag culture

Erm, my actual home is London. It has been for the past 35 years. London is Jordan crazy and has been for the past three years or so. You can't go up any regular high street without seeing MULTIPLE pairs of J's. Hardly anybody wears III's or IV's either. It's all about Spizike's and other hybrids. The recent Fire Red III's are still sitting on shelves even today. Nobody seems to know about OG CWs here, which is good. On Christmas Eve I went into Niketown wearing a pair of boxfresh 2011 True Blue III's and nobody outside of a few older heads had an idea what they even were. The Black/Crimson III's were popular here, but that's mainly because black shoes are way more popular than white ones nowadays.

I get what you are trying to say. But that pic was taken in Westfield (shepard's bush). I'm not sure what europeans and americans call crazy is the same thing.

This is crazy

Also all the stores here that had 300-500 people in line, with no assurance that everyone would get there pair after freezing in the cold. THAT's crazy. The fact that I can get even exclusive Js, like the OG 1s, by walking into one of the busiest stores in London months after release. NOT crazy

The UK is a much smaller country, and we have just as many Air Max/Huarache fans here too. Huaraches have gone crazy over Christmas, the same as NB. There is still a reasonable Air Force 1 thing going too.

It's probably not quite as crazy as in the States, but the recent Gamma Blue XI's sold out in their entirety in about an hour. There were 140-odd people queuing up for only 13 pairs in one store I enquired in. You couldn't get them anywhere other than eBay or Gumtree by lunchtime.

I'm glad it's not how you describe over here. You do usually at least get a decentish time window to get OG CWs. I can't see the ATC's doing much damage though. Nobody even seems to pick up the black ones in Niketown. That's good for me though.

Wow, really!?

What happened to Sports & Things?  I bought my Air Assailants there back in '06!

Yeah straight up. I was a little taken aback. Usually you meet a bunch of guys in the J section rocking some older shoes, but it was dead this time. Everyone who works there wears Free's too.

Sports & Things is still here. Streatham High Road's finest!

There's an eBay UK listing for lava's, which states that they'll be shipping on January 31st. That can't be right, right? £169.99 too.

Anyone have a 10 in the US opens? Might be able to help out with a pair of Aus Opens if we can organize something

i need the lavas badly. I can't believe that people copped the last retro release on clearance for $ 20-30. They're gonna fly off the shelves with the quickness this time around, especially with the QS tag.

I just hope that they aren't anywhere near as limited as the US Opens or Wimbledons were.

Pretty sure the Lavas are in the Summer Nike catalog, so I would expect them in the states around July or so.

peace,
J
