Your "insider info" was vague at best. You came in here saying that the shoe would be released outside of Paris, that's all you said. ANYBODY could have said the exact same thing. Considering you've never posted in the thread before, why should we be inclined to take you as gospel?

We'll see soon enough though.

Gotcha. That makes sense. Didn't know how the release(s) of those were handled in Europe.

But, people often throw around all kinds of terms without regard for what they actually mean, so I just wanted to make sure we were on the same page - especially for anybody who might be reading and unaware of what these terms mean, or who have only heard them used incorrectly in past.

We seem to be on the same page. As you say actual TZ shoes are few and far between. The Grand Slams most definitely are though. They've only ever been distributed via TZ accounts, and they've got the purple sticker on the box to match up with that.

The Roundel Pack AM's were definitely TZ too, although they ended up being sold by size? (at least the AM1 was), so I don't know how it actually works.

Joe - I'm not trying to come at you, but you talk a lot about how this thread is the best. ...How would you even know that, as you don't really seem to venture outside it? Truthfully, this is a good thread and a lot of the threads are crap, but this is not the only good one.

But, more to the point, if you had more widespread NT experience, you would know that some people are their own source. Will is pretty reliable. It doesn't matter if they're not a regular member of the thread, what matters is if they've had a track record of giving accurate info. ...I mean, I feel like you would have had the same reaction if jmadidas, or jshort came in and dropped that same info too. And, if you did, the script would have been flipped and everybody would have razzing the people who were questioning the info, instead of those who dropped the info.

I browse other threads, I just choose not to post in them as I generally gather the info I need without having to contribute.

The point I have been trying to make is that the info was indeed vague. It was more or less a single sentence. Will may well be a reliable source, but what he told us didn't actually help any of us, and anybody could have said the exact same thing. Loads of us in here are dedicated ATC fans, so a little more meat would have gone a long way as this last pair has become a mythical "must buy" for many.

Personally I think Nike are crazy to have not made all of the SP's more easily attainable, but then Nike are an odd bunch indeed, and do not fail to disappoint me with some regularity.

I wasn't trying to make any enemies at any stage of the conversation.

You're still just basing it off of previous TZ releases though. No US TZ accounts got either the Wimbledon or the AUS. It's pure speculation, nothing else.
You didn't tell us anything, you just agreed with another guy who came in out of nowhere telling us about a release with no concrete info.

I simply told you they wouldn't be so you people didn't have to pay resell.

Promo pics of sneakers - approved ones even - are released in advance of release info all the time. The fact that Nike-approved pics were released does not mean that approval has also been given to release info on that shoe's release.

That too was merely speculation. People had assumed that they would be Paris-only. There was nothing to back it up.

When I see them on shelves that is when I'll have my info, but not until then.

I have the Wimbledons and Aussies. Should've double copped the wimbledons. I would be happy with either a second pair or some US Opens.

I was pressed to head over to Mercer 21 when they were releasing the Aussies but I just couldn't do it something about them I didn't like. And nice on the Wimbledons finding any of these shoes in a 13 is impossible at this point

I thoughts that these would release in the US but I also know that the chances of getting them there would be very slim as only a very few select stores would have them.

I can see what you're trying to say now, but you didn't say "Hey guys, don't pay resale because they'll be available in the States". You said "Not only Paris is getting them kthxbye".

Now from what others have said, you seem to know your ****, but we would have appreciated a little more than what you did actually say. People are inquisitive by nature. There's no need to take offense because we questioned what you had said. Thanks for the info, however unhelpful or helpful it was.

Spoke to patta store clerk and all he said to me is in this thread. there are some places that will start sale tonight, but i will share that if i have mine..
