I meeeean, it wasn't THAT far off haha. All those raw midsoles were a creamy white for a really long time.

EDIT: Best I could really find. All I was really trying to say is that even new, those OG midsoles weren't white-white like we see today. You can kinda see on Andre's pair in these old Getty shots what I was talking about.

I hear what you're saying in that it wasn't bright white. Still doesn't make it Ok that Nike made both pairs different shades of piss.

If they made them the same color as the UPPERS on the Lava's (slightly off white) I wouldn't be mad.

But Nike is just over here being too cute with this faux aged bull-ish.

Do the squeeze test on the midsole. If they're still firm, you're probably OK. Most of it depends on how the previous owner stored them, unfortunately.

Absolutely, I wear mine all the time and have another voltage purple ds and in perfect condition.

Do you know how and where they were previously stored?
Like JShortt said, and from my experience as well, it all comes down to the conditions on how they were stored.
If it was cool and dry, then you should be ok... but if it was hot and humid, then probably no.
Heat and humidity have killed so many of my midsoles.

A couple of years ago for the voltage purple pair I’m currently using but I would have no issues with my ds pair if I wanted to wear them. Looking at the pics he posted I would have no hesitation wearing them. I got plenty of volts that I have played tennis in for 10 years as well still no issues other than the fact that I have worn the soles out so much from use. I un ds’red a pair this past year as well. The structure of the shoes are rock solid after 10 years.

It all depends on how they've been stored for all that time. It's a case by case situation and all dependent.

These were in just basic regular room temperature. I have LWP’s and Alarms that were sitting in my parents hot storage for decades and wore those recently. Only pair I had crumble was a pair of og Air Flares.
