🎾 OFFICIAL AGASSI RETRO THREAD 🎾

I mean the feedback means nothing dude could have perfect feedback but still be scamming folks. Regardless though when buying on eBay I always have my guard up unless it's a seller I've purchased from before

Selling on the other hand you have a disadvantage since the protection policies favor the buyer.

I just wish as a seller you could leave negative feedback like you used to be able to

to each there own. I jus don't mess with the 0 feedback folks...
I felt the same back in the days.

But when I lost the email address linked to my ebay account and had to reopen one I was "how can people get feeback if everyone thinks like that".

So now, I don't give a sh, I just do my homework and i didn't have any issue since.

Most buyers don't even leave feedback anymore.

Last few things I sold on eBay, I shipped within 24 hours, communicated EVERYTHING to the seller, and no feedback for me :{

Heck it's an absolute miracle whenever I get feedback from a seller when I buy something. I don't sell a whole lot, but I've had good luck getting feedback whenever I did sell something.

eBay should really keep reminding you to leave feedback or provide some sort of incentive to do so.

Yeah it's hard getting the other end to leave feedback I used to automatically leave it as soon as I got paid or received the item but now I'm stingy with it cuz I never get it back. I've been stuck between 190-199 the past year n half at least

As a buyer, I leave it as soon as I get the item and get a chance to look it over.

As a seller, I don't leave it until I get it.

yup, if you have good communication with your business partner and everything feels right chances are it's gonna go smooth. Looking at a number like feedback is helpful but definitely not the be all end all

When this happens I usually message them and bring up the feedback once or twice. If still nothing then can't really do much.

Same system for me but I thought it was just me not getting feedback. Appears that it's a worldwide phenomenon. However I once bought something which when arrived was Ok, not quite as described, badly packaged but not bad enough to complain. I don't like neging anyone so I just left it. Dude messages me every day saying please leave positive feedback- came across as a bit desperate.

So for the sake of clarity...

I'd more than likely purchase from a seller with 0 feedback before selling to somone with 0 feedback. due to buyer protection

I never even thought of this. How do you prevent someone with 0 feedback from buying?

I agree, I don't either

it's been a while since i've used ebay to sell or any other platform. save myself the headache of having to deal with chargebacks :x

But i know you can set buyer requirements on your account or each individual auction. Maybe search buyer requirements in the help section of ebay.

A buddy of mine informed me about it a few years ago when i was complaining about non paying bidders :lol

You used to be able to keep 0 feedback buyers from bidding, but I'm pretty sure they took that feature away. These are the current settings for buyer requirements. They will at least help you weed out the worst, but not 0 feedback buyers.  To get to this menu: sign in - go to "my eBay" - "account" tab - "site preferences" - "buyer requirements". You can cancel buyer's bids, however. Not sure if there's a penalty or not.

Boy the market sure has dropped on W2s. Size 12 on eBay just went for $152.

Maybe it's an unpopular opinion but I'm thankful people didn't get gouged on these like we initially thought. Maybe next time an agassi "sp" releases this thread wont get quite so swarmed with all the resellers - nothing personal @alp

Resellers couldn't resell? Awwwwww.....
Don't worry, every reseller (even the little kids who never get any releases) all ate on the federers which came out right after

nah it's not personal, it is what it is. But dudes shouldnt be mad when that release pops out of nowhere and starts going for stupid money (that's when everyone wants the favors). Maybe you shouldve copped one of those atc off me if you want a better price on the hot ticket item :lol
