Here is why the new Space Jam is not simply bad...
but evidence of the decline of our civilization.
CGI is a scourge upon socitey.
The best parts of the film are the 2D animated sequences in Toon world.
but for unclear reasons the film decides to bring everything into 3d animation
The looney toons look down right terrifying in 3D,
Foghorn leghorn has a ball sack on his chin.
The close up of Bugs face when he transform into 3d is what nightmares are made of.
Looney toons should never be 3d and should never move smoother than 12 frames per second.
all the 3d looney toon gags and actions scenes are totally visually incomprehensible.
and it's not simply because im an adult, I was with some kids, and I paid attention to the audience.
Tons of kids laughing during the 2d parts, NO children laughed during the 3D gags, because they don't make sense.
and the fact that 3d studios continue to rely on 3D animation because it's easier and cheaper than hand drawn 2d animation.
is because they believe that 3d pyro technics will mask totally incomprehensible visual story telling.
it is proof that we are failing as a socitey. This must end.
