Dudes really analyzing this nonsense.

space jam is some ******** you put on to keep the kids quiet for 2 hours. Same thing our parents did when space jam came out when we were youths. Both versions are terrible and I didn’t even see the lebron one to know that it’s *** butter.

This is a better movie than the original Space Jam. His fake family sucks though

this movie had a better concept going and pieces were there but then there was little stuff

like ain’t need that whole porky rapping.. and little too much granny

also felt like they could have handled things with the son differently when it came to the actual game

I agree that it was better than the original, and I’m biased as hell. Watched the OG a million times.

I think kids will like it. Wonder if they’re as connected and familiar with the Looney Tunes as our generation was.

Folks wanted the Coen brothers to take it on

A gritty retelling of a galactic game with all of existence in the Balance. Will LeBron work through his impending divorce and media firestorm focused only on his downfall?

If we’re keeping it :emoji_100:, both Space Jam movies were made to give MJ/LBJ, Warner Brothers and their respective business partners a reason to sell more merch. They just needed to be passably entertaining for kids to facilitate that goal. Not that deep:lol:

The new movie and all these collabs I'm seeing with Looney Tunes reinforces WB really dropped the ball with this generation. I remember watching Looney Tunes and Tiny Toons back in the day, don't think WB has done anything in like 15 years before this movie?

Yeah, before the Space Jam promos started to roll out, the only thing I can remember seeing Bugs Bunny in recently is that gif of him sawing Florida off the end of the US. That got posted a lot in 2020.

They have it's just the cartoon landscape is totally changed. They did a full blown looney tunes remake back in 2011 but it was on Cartoon Network and couldn't really gain traction. Kids like shows like Adventure Time, Gumball and Steven Universe. Bugs is pretty much irrelevant to this new generation.

aint just them… ain’t nothing new with that…

but they could of kinda easily made a better movie with what they had

After they wasted his 50 point game Dame finally realized ain't nothing for him in Portland. They shouldn't have lost that series.

They won the game where he went 1-10 though….

I want to know why they changed LeBron's family names.

Did the names Savannah, Bronny, Bryce and Zhuri not test well? :lol

Which was what

As a 4 year old seeing THE basketball icon (Mike) interact with THE cartoon icon (Bugs) was mind blowing.

Mike was probably the biggest star in the world in the 90's and my pops HATED him because he was a Knicks fan

So for him to actually take me to see this movie and enjoy it starring the dude he hated the most meant a lot to me and I'll never forget that

I watched Space Jam religiously up until I was like 10 years old.

Add the kicks and music (Believe I Can Fly) into the equation and you have a film that is a classic due to timing and overall impact on the demographic it was aimed for.

Not because of how "great" it was it because of "what" it was

Stop comparing it to that garbage Raymone is in

Soooooooo does gold medalist and 3 time nba champion javale get in the HOF?

Nah, they don’t even know who the Looney Tunes are. This was WB shot to connect Looney Tunes to the younger generation. Doubt it will have the same impact just since that time is kinda over.

they would’ve had to do paw patrol or something. Or baby shark :lol :lol. Maybe spongebob
