The crazy thing about this game is that people assume David Robinson was stat padding but this was a very close game going into the 4th quarter. Spurs were only up 2 going into the 4th quarter!

I definitely think these games were added after the start of the season. I recall the Lakers v. somebody getting swapped out for the Knicks on ESPN a couple weeks ago so I wouldn't be surprised if their games replaced others too.

I also noticed an uptick in ESPN games recently. Is it because this time of year they'd usually air NBA playoff games but since that's been pushed back and they had a bunch of free slots open? Essentially just replacing what would traditionally be playoff games with regular season games? Based on what's available in the world of sports at the moment it's either that, beginning of the season MLB, more draft coverage or axe throwing
